Yesterday, I inaugurated the Osun State Presidential Campaign Council for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), with a renewed commitment to deliver more than the 1.5 million votes we earlier promised.
Our rainbow coalition of Accord, APC and PDP is united solely for President Tinubu's re-election in the January 2027 presidential election. This partnership does not extend to the legislative elections. My support for all Accord candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly remains unshaken.
On the Osun local government crisis, negotiations are at an advanced stage. I have received the assurance of the Federal Government, and there will be positive developments soon.
These are critical times that demand unity beyond political differences. From the pain of the past, we must unite for the prosperity of the future. Together, let us mobilise and deliver Osun for President Tinubu.

I have initiated a comprehensive statewide security and surveillance project in partnership with a Chinese firm, Hefei Shengwen Information Technology Company Limited to strengthen security and protect lives and property across Osun State.
At a meeting with the company’s delegation led by Mr Cai Jianfei, Director of International Operations, we discussed plans for the deployment of modern security technologies, including drones, radar systems, artificial intelligence-enabled cameras, robotics and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, all integrated into a central Command and Control Centre for real-time monitoring across the state.
The project will cover schools, hospitals, banks, industries, farms, mining sites, commercial centres, motor parks and border communities. It will also feature a Safe School Project and a mobile application that will enable citizens to connect directly with the Command and Control Centre.
Building on our establishment of the Osun State Security Trust Fund, this initiative reflects our commitment to leveraging modern technology to strengthen our security architecture and ensure the safety of our people and businesses.
Our goal is to build an inclusive security system that protects every community and makes Osun State safer for all.
Today, I celebrate my Chief of Staff, Alhaji Kazeem Kolapo Akinleye, on the occasion of his 57th birthday.
Kazeem Akinleye has been a dependable brother, a loyal ally and a committed team player whose contributions to our administration remain invaluable. I call him the engine room of our administration and the class captain of my cabinet because of his exceptional ability to coordinate people, manage competing interests and keep the machinery of government running effectively.
Through the ups and downs of our political journey, including the difficult moments before our victory, he has remained steadfast and loyal. His wealth of experience, grassroots understanding and practical approach to problem-solving continue to strengthen our collective commitment to delivering good governance to the people of Osun State.
On this special day, I pray for good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and many more prosperous years for him. May God continue to guide and bless him as we work together in the service of our dear state and its people.
Happy Birthday Kazeem!
Yesterday, I signed the Osun State Park Management Bill into law, marking an important step in our efforts to modernise the transportation system in Osun State.
I commend the Speaker and members of the Osun State House of Assembly for their commitment and diligence in processing this legislation. The new law provides a framework for addressing longstanding challenges within our transportation park system while promoting efficient service delivery.
As implementation begins, my administration will ensure that the interests of Osun people, transport operators and other stakeholders are accommodated. Our goal is a modern, orderly and sustainable transport system that improves the experience of commuters and operators across the state.
We remain committed to building an Osun transportation sector that works for everyone.
Today, I celebrate my Deputy and brother, Prince Kola Adewusi, on his birthday.
Prince Kola has been a trusted partner and a dependable pillar of our administration. His loyalty to our joint ticket, deep team spirit, wise counsel and commitment to public service have remained constant through every season of our journey.
We have been through thick and thin together, working with unity and purpose to deliver on our mandate to the people of Osun. I deeply value his friendship, calmness, expertise and the valuable contributions he brings to our administration.
On this special day, I celebrate the Prince of the Source, a personification of loyalty, service and humility.
I wish you a happy birthday, Prince Kola. May God grant you long life, good health and prosperity in all ramifications.
Happy Birthday, Your Excellency!
Today, on World Teachers’ Day, I celebrate and honour teachers across Osun State and Nigeria for their invaluable role in shaping minds, building character and preparing future generations.
Teaching is more than a profession; it is a calling that demands patience, sacrifice, discipline and unwavering commitment. Our teachers are builders who impart knowledge and values, helping to build a society founded on wisdom and responsible citizenship.
In Osun, our administration remains committed to prioritising the welfare of teachers, improving their working environment, providing training opportunities and rehabilitating public school infrastructure.
I thank all our teachers for the work they do every day. Teachers are builders, and every day they prepare our children for a brighter future is a day worth celebrating them.
Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Freezing of State Accounts: Court Order Procured by Fraud - Osun State Government
● Files Application to Vacate the Order
● Says Arbitration Process & Outcome was Fraudulent
● Cites Contract Dispute as Inherited from Oyetola Administration
OSOGBO - 04/10/2026 - Osunstate.gov.ng
The Osun state government has filed an application to the Federal High Court, Lagos for the setting aside of the Ex-parte order made on September 9th of this year for not only being procured by fraud, deceit and concealment of material facts by Gamji Nigeria Company Limited, but also for myriads of reasons which include the fact that the said order does not accord with public policy.
The application for setting aside of the Order was filed before the Federal High Court on 2nd October, 2026
In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, the state government submitted that just as the court order was a product of illegitimacy and fraud, the arbitration award it sought to enforce was rigged, dishonest and fake.
Narrating the historical genesis of the case, the statement noted that the 2017 contract dispute started under the former Oyetola administration which denied a variation request by Gamji particularly as it relates to whether the Osun State Government was indebted to Gamji Nigeria Company to the tune of $15,982,638. 22 (Fifteen Million, Nine Hundred and Eighty-Two Thousand, Six Hundred and Thirty-Eight US Dollars and Twenty-Two Cents) or not.
According to the state government, the matter proceeded for arbitration which was deliberately mismanaged and fraudulently handled to favour Gamji while denying the state government fair hearing and full participation in the arbitration process as mandatory by best practice in the arbitration process.
The Counsel to the State Government had filed the suit to set aside the Arbitral Award at the Lagos State High Court, since Lagos was the seat of arbitration.
This suit was filed on the 1st day of September, 2026 after the initial suit filed in Osun State was discontinued. Alongside the Originating Motion used to commence this suit, a motion on notice was equally filed to suspend the execution of the Award until the suit is heard and determined.
Both the originating motion and the motion on notice were duly served on Gamji and their Counsel. Proofs of service are attached as DOCUMENTS 18, 19 & 20.
To the greatest chagrin of the Osun State Government and its legal team, Gamji Nig. Co. Ltd., despite being in receipt of the Originating Motion and Motion on Notice filed before the Lagos State High Court to suspend execution of the Award, went behind to approach the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State to enforce the Award – the same Award that was being challenged by the Osun State Government before a Court of competent jurisdiction.
Today, I join Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to celebrate the 66th Independence Anniversary of our dear country, Nigeria.
Despite the challenges we have faced over the years, the Nigerian spirit of resilience, hard work and hope remains strong. We must continue to believe in our country and work together to build a better future.
In Osun, my administration remains committed to people-centred development. Over the past four years, we have made progress in education, healthcare, infrastructure and agriculture.
I am particularly pleased with Osun’s 5th position nationally in the 2026 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination, an improvement from 7th in 2025. I also commend the participants and winners of the 2026 Osun State Essay Competition for their creativity and commitment to shaping the future of our State and Nation.
I thank the people of Osun for their resilience, confidence and massive participation in the recently concluded elections. I assure you that the next four years will be dedicated to consolidating our achievements and doing more to improve lives.
As we celebrate, let us strengthen peace, unity and tolerance. Our differences must never become a barrier to our shared progress.
Together, we can build an Osun and a Nigeria where every child has opportunity, young people can dream without fear, hard work is rewarded, and every citizen can live with dignity.
Happy Independence Day, Nigeria!
Long live Osun State.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
I commiserate with the residents and families affected by the recent flooding in parts of Osun State. I share your concerns over the impact on homes, businesses and livelihoods.
Following my directive, the Special Task Force on Environmental Sanitation, led by Elder Ayanleye Aina, visited some of the affected areas and assessed the situation with a view to preparing a response plan for the administration.
My administration has already undertaken initial dredging and drainage interventions to improve water flow and reduce flooding. We will take further necessary measures to protect lives, property and communities.
Additionally, I urge residents to support these efforts by keeping our environment clean, stopping the dumping of refuse on waterways and roadside drains, and desisting from building on natural water channels and flood-prone corridors.
I also encourage residents to report flooding incidents, blocked drainages and other environmental hazards to the appropriate authorities. Together, we can reduce the impact of flooding across Osun State.
Yesterday, I received the leadership of the Osun Development Association (ODA), led by its Chairman, Dr. Segun Aina, for a very important and productive discussion on accelerating the industrial and socio-economic development of our dear state.
We discussed several areas of collaboration, including the proposed Osun State Social and Economic Advisory Council, an industrial development bank, investment mobilisation, industrial park development, and stronger interventions in education and healthcare.
I welcomed these proposals and assured the ODA of our administration’s readiness to explore practical ways of activating them for the benefit of our people.
I call on successful sons and daughters of Osun to invest back home and join us in building a stronger, more industrialised and prosperous state. This partnership is important. Together, we will continue to accelerate development and deliver good governance for the people of Osun.
I am pleased with Osun State’s outstanding performance in the 2026 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination, where we ranked 5th nationally, with 74.31% of candidates recording at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
In just four years, Osun has moved from 33rd position in 2022 to 5th in 2026, maintaining a single-digit ranking for three consecutive years. This encouraging progress demonstrates that our sustained investments in education, including the recruitment of additional teachers, improved learning environments and prioritisation of workers’ welfare are yielding positive results.
Congratulations to our students, teachers, parents and the entire Osun education family.

OSUN EMERGES TOP 5 STATES IN LATEST NECO RANKING
Osun state has made history by emerging top 5 states in 2026 NECO examination, up from 7th position attained in 2024 and 2025.
Recall that Osun was 30th in 2022 NECO Examination rating.
Kudos to the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke @AAdeleke_01
Today in London, I hosted a team of investors in the Sports Industry, led by Dr. Bob Olukoya, Country Director, Alive and Kicking Nigeria Limited, and Mrs. Joanne Macrae, Director, Amos Sports Business School, London and Business Development Director, Alive and Kicking Nigeria Limited.
We had productive discussions on the enormous opportunities in sports business and industrial development in Osun State. I reaffirmed our administration’s commitment to transforming Osun from a civil service-dependent economy into an industrialised subnational entity, with the Osun Free Trade Zone positioned as a major hub for investment.
I have directed the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to urgently process the investors’ submission, as Osun is in a hurry for industrialisation. I am particularly encouraged by the proposal to establish a football factory in our Free Trade Zone to produce footballs for Nigeria, Africa and the global market, as well as the planned football talent academy to train and develop young Osun talents for local and international opportunities.
We will continue to create the right environment, policies and infrastructure to attract investments, create jobs and unlock the economic potential of our people. Osun is open for business, and we are ready to partner with investors who share our vision of an industrialised and prosperous state.

I join family, friends and well-wishers across Nigeria to celebrate our First Lady, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, @SenRemiTinubu on the joyous occasion of her 66th birthday.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a remarkable example of dedication to public service and nation building. I recall with fondness the partnership we enjoyed during our days in the Nigeria Senate, where she distinguished herself through legislation and advocacy for women, young people and inclusive governance.
Today, as the First Lady of Nigeria, she has continued to demonstrate a spirit of inclusiveness, galvanising Nigerians across political divides towards the shared goal of a better and more prosperous nation. She is truly an inclusive nation builder and a mother to all.
I honour her life of service and contributions to our dear country, and I pray Almighty God to bless her with many more years in good health, wisdom and fulfilment as she continues to support our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the service of Nigeria.
