If I told you there’s an album from 2002 with: MF Doom, The Deftones, A-Trak, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and the Beatnuts, that no one under the age of 35 has ever heard would you want to hear it

I like that one MOP song where the BV’s come in like a Greek chorus saying “for no reason at all he’s angry”

Absolute respect. None of us electronic music heads would be here without this man. My entire youth was engulfed in Juan’s music. Can’t express how synonymous his music is with my break dancing years. Visionary. The one that started it ALL. RIP Juan Atkins. 🙏

The opening of Judd Apatow’s Norm MacDonald doc taught me that I’m not the only one who has spent countless hours watching every single Norm appearance on any type of late show, talk show etc on every corner of YouTube.

There was a video of me scratching on the earliest version of Serato at NAMM. Both AM and Jazzy Jeff asked me if it was solid, I told them yes. They both started using it. And it all spread from there. @Serato

I remember not being able to decide on @Serato or Stanton FinalScratch. This was basically before youtube. I was looking at photos and reading marketing materials. Dj AM and @atrak helped guide a generation.
