Nepal's August glacial flood has left a $4.8 billion recovery and reconstruction bill, more than half of it for hydropower and the grid. As Himalayan glaciers melt, the risks to homes, livelihoods and economies are only growing. Good discussion with Nepal’s Finance Minister Dr. @SwarnimWagle and former @UNDP economist on rebuilding hydropower, protecting communities from future floods and getting people back to work.
