THE M5.0 NEAR BUSHEHR WAS AN EARTHQUAKE. NOT A NUCLEAR TEST
THE FORESHOCK
Iran's own seismological network recorded an ML 3.6 at 21:08:38 UTC, twelve minutes before the main shock. Then an ML 3.7 aftershock at 00:49.
A single detonation cannot produce a foreshock. There is nothing to fire twelve minutes early and then fire again. That sequence is rock failing, then failing again.
WHAT THE AGENCIES SAY
USGS: earthquake. EMSC: known earthquake. GFZ: earthquake. Not one classifies it as an explosion.
And USGS does label tests when they are tests. North Korea's 2016 shot is filed as "nuclear explosion," depth 0 km. This one is filed as "earthquake," kilometres down.
THE WAVES
I pulled raw broadband data from six stations. At the nearest, 523 km away in the UAE, shear energy runs roughly 52 times the compressional.
An explosion is a volumetric point source. Almost pure compression, almost no shear. A fault rupture is the opposite. That ratio is not a blast.
THE GROUND ALREADY DOES THIS
Ninety earthquakes of M4.5 or larger within 100 km in thirty years. 21 of them M5.0 or bigger. Including an M6.4 in 2013 that threw 73 aftershocks in a week.
This is one of the more active patches of the Zagros.
THE SALT DOME
Salt matters for one reason: you can dissolve a chamber out of it, hang a device in the empty space, and the walls crush inward and absorb the blast instead of passing it into the ground. The US did exactly that at the Tatum salt dome in Mississippi, Salmon, fired 5.3 kilotons in 1964, then Sterling fired 380 tons inside the cavity Salmon left behind.
Jashak salt dome sits 24 km northeast of the epicenter. Bushehr Province is salt country. USGS's own review names Iran as having salt in seismically active ground.
So the rock was there. The mine wasn't. Nothing has been driven into Jashak. A cavity that could hide 5 kilotons would need a diameter near 86 metres, a kilometre down.
The seismology kills the rest. A salt dome is itself a natural earthquake source in this exact magnitude range, and this quake put fifty times more shear into the ground than compression. A decoupled shot produces almost no shear at all.
WHERE THE RECORD IS THIN
No agency has published a moment tensor, the one product that settles source type outright. No Ms, so the classic body-to-surface-wave test can't be run.
The 10 km depth is operator assigned, not measured; Iran's own institute says 36 km. CTBTO, which issued a statement for an mb 3.9 in Fars in March, has said nothing about a 5.0 beside Iran's only reactor.
None of that makes it a test. It makes the public record thin at exactly the point people want it thick.

Matt Tardio @angertab joined Gary Melton's @paramounttactcl live to explain striking Iran isn't too serious.
Iran fired a surface-to-air missile at a US aircraft, and the jet turned around and destroyed the launcher on Qeshm Island. Three US officials tell CNN that's what Monday's strike was: Iranian air defenses on Qeshm fired at an American aircraft over the Strait of Hormuz and the US hit the launch site in response, in what the Pentagon is calling a "limited and defensive" action to protect its forces, not the big operation Gulf states were told to brace for.
One official said the administration kept it under wraps on purpose so nobody mistook a defensive shot for the start of round two. Vance, the same afternoon, said he and Trump feel "pretty good" about a deal and that Iran is "always a little unpredictable."

BREAKING: RIOTS In Kyiv | CONFIRMED - USA Strikes On Iran teapawt.org/i/broadcasts/2ybVdbMPW…
Locals are reporting he jumped the fence when everyone started storming the house...
Ukraine's conscription age starts at 25, not 18, and certainly not 14.
This image should be the Time Magazine cover of the year.
A 14-year-old Ukrainian boy, wrapped in a blanket, being brought out of a private house near Kyiv that the Azov Corps of the National Guard has now confirmed belonged to them.
The house was being used to hold mobilized soldiers who had gone AWOL.
Head of Zelensky’s office Kyrylo Budanov showed up, spoke to the boy, and walked him out while a crowd gathered outside.
Ukrainian outlets reported injuries on some of the men held there. Azov called it a “military compound” and said those responsible for illegal violence would face punishment.
This is what the Zelensky government has become. Azov, with its documented fascist roots, is integrated into the National Guard.
They continue a war that has already cost Ukraine a generation of men, while running informal holding sites for their own people who refuse to serve as cannon fodder.
The Democrat/Deep State/EU narrative still treats Zelensky as a defender of democracy and Azov as reformed heroes.
This photo is the reality. An investigation that only started because the public forced the issue. This is who they are. This is what the war is being used to protect.
Here is the proof

Replying to @francisjfarrell
What stood out to me was how there were certain main characters of the story, as if they had clear roles to play. The few men in civilian clothes attacking and provoking; the teen in a gas mask who climbed the fence, started throwing bricks, and was later paraded as a victim;
An official source has confirmed to the WSJ that the USA did conduct airstrikes on Qeshm Island (Iran) hours ago.
USA strikes against Iran have been reported by Iranian state media for the last week across the Strait of Hormuz, this is the first confirmation since they began.
This has to be a joke… right?
Iranian officials stated today they will not give up enriching uranium.
Iran is demanding the USA end the blockade and withdraw from the region.
Where is any of the actual media fact checking these statements???
.@VP on Iran: "The President and I both feel pretty good about the prospects for potentially coming to a negotiated settlement. We're going to keep on working at it... We've certainly made some progress. We'll see if we can make some more."

Only disgusting grifters and hopelessly useful idiots watch a video of a plane crash that kills innocent people and immediately start pushing conspiracy nonsense, by the way.
They disguise it as “just asking questions” or “everything deserves investigating”.
They aren’t.
They are peddling influence for cash or notoriety, because they aren’t actually investigating anything.
Real investigators and journalists don’t publicly spin wild theories before they have confirmed even a single fact.
They investigate objectively and then report on what they can back up with sources and facts.
One of the worst things that happened to our society was the fictionalization of the press.
The Founders enshrined freedom of the press in our Constitution for a reason, but John Adams said it best: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Freedom of the press was meant to check the government’s penchant for becoming tyrannical.
It was supposed to be a counterbalance for We the People.
It was never supposed to be about glory and fame, but accountability.
It was never supposed to be about narrative building, but freedom.
It was never supposed to be about money, but sacrifice.
Now it’s about who can say something first, and who can make the wildest claim.
And it is all to feed the consumers, you and yours, and brainwash the masses.
So many people don’t actually want truth… they just want to be entertained.
Damn, people suck…
BREAKING: UK Embassy Under Attack | Iran Threatens Strikes
teapawt.org/i/broadcasts/2zkzLqzWP…
Iran says the very threat that the USA may use a nuclear weapon simply encourages them to violate the NPT (obtain a nuclear weapon).
Explosions and gunfire reported at the UK Embassy inside of the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq (per Tasnim)
The UK Embassy is less than 1 mile from the US Embassy.
Last month, the PMF (an Iranian Shia Proxy Terror Organization) threatened to overthrow the Iraqi government.
@grok Was there not an incident reported with drones inside of the green zone last week? I feel like they were allegedly recon drones that were shot down.
We will bomb Iran following the midterms, if they don't attack us first. Doha and JD Vances letter to Iran changed nothing.
Iran is now stating they will reopen the Strait of Hormuz (ie, stop attacking ships), if the USA accepts their terms. Iran still wants to enrich uranium, and still wants to fund FTO's.
Iran states they will reopen the Strait "within two days" because they think the midterms gives them leverage over Trump.
Iran’s spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
-11/02/2026
Iran will not give up the enriched uranium. This was not discussed in Doha.
This means the negotiations in Doha were not successful and the peace plan Iran presented to the USA has not changed.
Iran "has also deliberately attacked civilian mariners at sea — killing more than 20 in recent months."
- CENTCOM
🚫 CLAIM: Iran’s foreign minister recently claimed publicly that Iran has not attacked civilians in neighboring countries. This is FALSE.
✅ FACT: Iran has not only intentionally attacked civilian infrastructure, neighborhoods, and other facilities in neighboring Gulf countries, but it has also deliberately attacked civilian mariners at sea — killing more than 20 in recent months. Iran’s indiscriminate aggression is clearly evident and inexcusable.
