BIG SH🏀TS

Trey Barnes (6’6 2029 TRU/Pasquotank County, HS (NC) Trey is an impact paint presence on both ends of the floor. A shot blocking threat and an active rebounder he also has the agility and lateral mobility to effectively defend other small forwards on the perimeter, Comfortable going over his right shoulder with his back to the basket he can finish with either hand at the rim. Rangy and athletic he can handle and get his shot off the bounce and also create for others. Trey plays off jabs nicely, has excellent footwork both operating as a post option or when making a play off the bounce and on catch and shoot action. He is a threat from behind the arc with the jumper. Efficient out of a variety of actions and from all levels. Trey runs the floor nicely, long graceful strides and good quickness. Exciting potential! Trey has participated in both track and football at the high school level in addition to his basketball background where he obviously excels as a high ceiling prospect. A wide receiver on the football team his agility, length and nimble footwork has allowed him to be an impact force on the gridiron. His athleticism and advanced skill level on the basketball court coupled with his relentless motor on both ends of the floor has allowed him to already establish himself among the most promising 2029 prospects in the 252! Trey is also a high academic student athlete routinely earning A/B Honor Roll. Look for a big season both at Pasquotank HS where he is a potential double figure rebounder and scorer and next summer for TRU on a team loaded with length, athleticism and versatility. @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
