Sports Media Biz: Members of The New York Times sports department sent a letter to paper leadership Sunday asking for answers about the future of NYT Sports amid concerns that it could be shut down in an ongoing effort to further integrate #TheAthletic to the NYT itself. The letter, signed by 28 writers and editors in the sports department, was addressed to executive editor Joseph Kahn and A.G. Sulzberger, chairman of the New York Times Company.
