Bucknell then ran a two-minute drill and successfully went for it on fourth down twice before Emmett Dowling found Sam Milligan in the endzone with a perfectly placed ball and seven seconds left. The Bison went for two, but Lehigh secured its win with a pass breakup.

With 3:05 left in the game, Lehigh scored to make it 28-24. After four downs played, the Bison turned over the ball and Lehigh capitalized on their short field with a field goal to make it 31-24.
