How can the transatlantic alliance build a future-capable, allied defense force?
The answer will depend on producing critical capabilities at scale, bringing emerging defense technologies into allied forces, and building a defense industrial base that works across the Atlantic. CEPA and Brzezinski Global Strategies took up those questions with Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Jaromír Zůna, whose country’s defense industry has a growing role to play in strengthening the alliance.

Russia’s shadow war is not one country’s problem, and it will not be solved by one country’s response.
Attacks on infrastructure, information, and democratic institutions now stretch from the Baltic to the Black Sea. On the main stage at the Forum 2000 conference in Prague, CEPA Vice President @Walker_CT, former Lithuanian President @Grybauskaite_LT, and @RKiesewetter of the German Bundestag examined why the transatlantic partnership remains essential to confronting it. The session, co-organized by CEPA and Forum 2000 and moderated by MEP @AlexandrVondra, looked at the price both sides would pay for drifting apart.
