MoES–AcSIR MoU for Advancing Research in Earth Sciences The Ministry of Earth Sciences (@moesgoi) and the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (@AcSIR_India) signed an MoU to strengthen scientific collaboration and doctoral research. The MoU was signed by Dr. Praveen Kumar D., Scientist-G and Mission Director, Mission Mausam, on behalf of MoES, and Prof. Manoj Kumar Dhar, Director, AcSIR. It was formally declared during a meeting chaired by Dr. Srinivasa Kumar Tummala (@tummalasrini), Secretary, MoES, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations. All ten MoES institutes are now recognised as AcSIR Associated Research Institutes (AcSIR-ARIs) and are participating in AcSIR’s latest Call for PhD Enrolment. The collaboration will enable PhD scholars to undertake research at MoES institutes, promote interdisciplinary scientific inquiry by utilizing shared resources of world class standards.
