The strikers played their final road game of the season and came away with a 1-0 win over the Blaze. Chatham completed a perfect season on the road( zero losses) ! Jordan Nicholson scored her 2nd goal of the year and Brooke Foster recorded her 6th shutout.
An eventful, but none the less disappointing and frustrating result on the pitch last night against Alliance FC. With 3 defenders knocked out of the game with injuries , one with a broken elbow requiring surgery, the inept referee continued to not call any fouls and
Chatham battled hard despite having 2 starting defenders knocked out, 1 taken away in an ambulance, which left us with 2 healthy subs for 45 mins on the bench. The ref did card 2 players who questioned his bad calls and lack of calls , but hey you can commit murder on the pitch,
First place baby!! The Strikers 9 game unbeaten streak lives on, thanks to some nifty moves by Jillian Hyatt and a smooth finishing touch by Alissa Burd, and a stellar showing from the back line and keeper, the young Striker side show they are a force to be reckoned with!
Megan Hakr lifts the Strikers to their 4th win in a row and extends their 8 game unbeaten streak! Hakr had 2 goals and an assist and Julia Moretto, Sophie Maine and Alissa Burd all chipped in to help Chatham defeat Taxandria 5 - 1 and move the Strikers into 2nd place
The Rookies stepped up big time last night and carried the Strikers to their 3rd win in a row. Chatham remains unbeaten on the year thanks to goals from Kate Martin and Jordan Nicholson and another shut out from Brooke Foster and our stellar defence!
2 wins in a row, and 6 games unbeaten to start the season, not too shabby?! Strikers found a way to scratch out a win on the road against Sarnia when Elliot Cowan set up Kate Brady, who cranked a high shot from 25 yds out to beat the Sarnia goalie and lift Chatham to a 1 nil win
Finally! The Strikers come away victorious and remain unbeaten on the season. Julia Moretto got the party started with 2 early markers and Jillian Hyatt and Alissa Burd joined in the fun to secure the 4-0 win over London United Gryphons.
Rhea VanHelden taking one for the team! More battle scars to brag about!? When interviewed after the game Rhea stated ‘ Are metal cleats even allowed?? I feel like there’s no way plastic cleats would have done that ‘. #metalcleatsillegal
The Strikers were back in action at home on Wed. night against the Sarnia Spirit and once again, Chatham proved they are fit to be tied. Chatham has tied all 4 of their games this season, and the last 2 they did so in dramatic fashion, scoring in injury time at the games end!
