🚀 More than 100 leaders from across our Care Chemicals business came together in Lisbon for the Global Conference, combining strategic presentations and interactive workshops to align on growth priorities and strengthen connections. As Marcelo Lu put it, “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩” – reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of the team as it looks to the future. 🌱 Since 2023, we've been working alongside Associação Ambientalista Copaíba through the Araçá Project in Brazil, supporting forest restoration and environmental education. And that journey continues! Recently, another group of our #RealPeopleofClariant visited our partner to experience the restoration process firsthand, planting seeds and walking through a restored forest area where they could see how years of care can help nature grow back. 🌳 Our partnership is also opening new doors. With support from the Clariant Foundation, a new educational facility is expected to welcome around 2,000 students and employees, helping more people learn about and connect with nature. And there's another exciting step ahead: planting of the Clariant Forest is planned to begin this year! It's through partnerships like these, and the people who bring them to life, that we create #GreaterChemistry – between people and planet. 💚

🌱 #ResponsibleMining goes beyond extracting minerals safely and efficiently. It also means caring for the land and planning for its future from the very beginning. At one of our mining operations in Mexico, we've restored 1.2 hectares of previously mined land and released it for cultivation, reducing our active mining footprint and returning the area to productive use while operations continue. Because restoring the land shouldn't have to wait until mining ends. 🌿 Our team is also exploring new ways to make restoration more effective. A first pilot using #biodegradable coir matting has shown promising results in stabilizing slopes and supporting revegetation, with potential to replicate this approach at other mining sites. And the work continues, with another 0.5 hectares planned for restoration in 2027. This is how we bring our purpose of #GreaterChemistry – between people and planet to life: through responsible decisions and meaningful actions that consider not only what we extract, but also what we leave behind. 𖠋𖠋🌍

💛☀️ In Brazil, our #RealPeopleofClariant and their families recently came together for the first Walk for Life, organized through our Vivaz Program as part of Yellow September, a month dedicated to mental health awareness. The morning was an opportunity to spend time together, with a group walk followed by relaxation activities and conversations over breakfast. A moment to connect and remind ourselves of the importance of looking after our well-being and one another. Our people are at the heart of #Clariant. Caring for our colleagues’ well-being is part of how we work, whether through moments like these or through more direct support, including psychological counseling, stress management trainings, and employee assistance programs. Because creating #GreaterChemistry – between people and planet also means building a workplace where people feel valued, supported and cared for.
