Morningside's 61-21 win over Concordia on Saturday marked head coach Steve Ryan's 256th career coaching win. He moves to 31st on the all-time CFB wins list passing the legend Tom Osborne. I took some time to take a look at their resumes, and they are shockingly similar.

2000+ D2/D3/NAIA Freshman football careers are going to end in the next 3 months...because you aren't focused on where your feet are... If you're not an All-American, All-Conference, Multi-year Starter...you're exactly where you should be. Anecdotes aren't data points.

Before entering the portal, ask yourself ✅ Learned the playbook? ✅ Went to class? ✅ Done everything asked of you? If not, a new school won't fix it. Most coaches aren't looking for freshmen who quit midseason. Finish what you started. The players who stay and develop usually win in the long run.
