To make this more productive, share a little gist about your life:
Rent and housing costs
Transport
Married, single, dependants?
Family you’re responsible for
Monthly expenses and debts
Financial goals
Basically, what is your money fighting?
Or not.🌚
iPhone 16 as the goal? I suggest an ambition upgrade, not a phone upgrade🙊
Anyway, let’s do this:

Financial goals - iPhone 16 🌚
Data & airtime: ₦15,000
Contribution at home: ₦15,000 (buy gas or something here and there 💙)
Transport: ₦10,000
Books & learning: ₦10,000
Personal expenses: ₦10,000
Miscellaneous: ₦5,000
Savings: ₦10,000 (build an emergency fund before you think of that iPhone)
At ₦15k monthly, that iPhone will take a while, my love.
Let’s hope Apple doesn’t launch the iPhone 30 before you get there. 🙂↔️
₦300k for a family of 3? I didn’t tell you I perform miracles, but I’ll try my best.
Food & groceries: ₦100,000
Transport: ₦30,000
Electricity & utilities: ₦50,000
Data & subscriptions: ₦20,000
Healthcare (HMO): ₦25,000
Miscellaneous: ₦15,000
Savings (emergency fund): ₦60,000

I’m assuming school fees have a separate budget because if they’re hiding inside this ₦300k… well, I recommend HC🌚
We do not have any such agents, please.
Once you’ve set a maturity date, you can only get your money once it matures, unless it’s in emergency funds🙏🏽
The only two “men” in your life who want your money to stay with you. 🌚
I act like I’m fine but deep down I really want to know who Timi and Ope from Cowrywise are because these people literally email me every morning 😭
I’ll wake up and see “Hi Fathia, have you saved your money?”
Please let me breathe @cowrywise
You people treat your savings goals like situationships. Plenty promises, no commitment. 😒

We’ve all heard the news that JPMorgan has reportedly dropped ₦50 billion to take things to the next level with Nigeria.
₦50 billion for a talking stage. This is serious.🌚
But, why?
So what could this mean for ordinary Nigerians?
If a deeper JPMorgan presence helps Nigerian businesses access financing to expand, that could mean more businesses growing, more jobs being created and more people earning.
But these are potential benefits, not guarantees. We’ll have to see what actually changes.
The bigger story is that a financial institution with a decades-long history in Nigeria is looking to deepen its commitment to the market.
That doesn’t mean all our economic problems have disappeared.
But it does give us something worth watching.
JPMorgan and Nigeria are taking things to the next level. Let’s see how this relationship goes. 👀💙
