Kudos to @binance for how they handled this.
They moved fast, their comms team were always on.
They assured the market the losses are covered and user fund safe.
They mobilized their network to freeze funds fast.
The event may have been avoidable but it was well handled and prevented an I industry collapse.
Wall Street isn't waiting for crypto adoption, it's already building on blockchain!
DTCC has chosen Canton for tokenization, with Nasdaq, CME and Visa also involved in its ecosystem.

On this day in 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto published the nine-page paper Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System, introducing the idea of a decentralized electronic cash system with no trusted third party.
The network itself launched a few months later in January 2009.

1. Crypto's biggest exchange was just hacked in the biggest cyberattack in history $6.3bn and Bitcoin is down less than 5%. The industry is much stronger than ever before.
2. Yesterday, ICE, one of the biggest incumbents in trading partnered with http://trade(dot)xyz on $HYPE to adopt crypto technology into the traditional financial system. They did this onchain (HYPE) and not via a centralized entity.
3. This week the biggest clearing house in the world, the DTCC started clearing transactions on a blockchain - specifically Canton.
The industry is stronger and more resilient than ever!
