This National Cervical Cancer Prevention Week check the register and get screened!
According to the Health Service Executive (HSE) There’s no 1 way to stop you from getting cervical cancer.
However, you can cut your risk by:
* getting the HPV vaccine in school
* having regular cervical screening
* having treatment & extra tests when advised
* getting help to quit smoking
* Breastfeeding also reduces the risk of ovarian, uterine & endometrial cancer amongst others.
In honour of National Hug Day, all parents, caregivers and guardians deserve a hug for all of their hard work raising these tiny humans whether it’s virtually, in person or just make them a cup of tea to show you care!

Volunteers and their babies from Cuidiú were delighted to join an event at the Áras today hosted by Sabina Higgins'.
The winning class was 2nd class at Gaelscoil Chluain Meala, Tipperary who won a visit to Áras an Uachtaráin for a tour, to meet Sabina, and to have a class photo.
Cuidiú caring support for parents is delighted to help promote breastfeeding as a choice and to support all parent in their feeding journeys.
