Happy New Year! 2026 begins with Emily's Battle with Batten - just look at the smile on Emily’s face as she gets to grips with the RANE Performer 😀

The final post of 2025 comes from The Warren Youth Project where for our last session of the year we had a bit of fun with peer to peer teaching. I will take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from @DjMethodz✌️ see you all in 2026!

@DjMethodz in partnership with @HullMusicHub is working with youth centres across the city to introduce young people to DJ’ing. The RUN THE TRACK project ended 2025 at Astra Youth Centre.

It starts here! @DjMethodz delivers workshops and projects in communities, at youth centres such as Route One, so that young people who are unable to travel into the city centre can access DJ’ing, equipment and technology. email [email protected] for more info

This is Charlie ‘Bunni’ Hartley who I first encountered at Kingston Youth Centre in 2018. I didn’t see him again until this year when he started to attend my sessions at The Warren. Here he is bustin’ out his recent Christmas set, and a shot from back in 2018 at KYC.

A group of young DJs came together over the weekend for a one-off workshop at @HullMusicHub AlbemarleMusic Centre. We opened 2 rooms so DJs could try out the industry-standard Pioneer CDJs in one room, and have a go on the Denon media players in room two.

@DjMethodz has just begun a new adventure! The RUN THE TRACK project is funded by the @HullMusicHub and focuses on the grass roots of DJ’ing in Hull, engaging with young people at Primary School age and linking schools with youth centres - photos from @childdynamix Eastmount YC

Been searching for the right mixer to compliment the Denon DJ SC6000M media players… Look no further than the Allen & Heath Xone:PX5 Will be unleashing this setup in the near future!
