I'll have the slides up soon, but here's the slide with my baby girls if you missed it!

Great example here. The password on the right was actually more secure because developers used crypt to salt and hash The password on the right, which is objectively better, failed because the devs stored it in plain text

The first slide from @ch1kpee at @cackalackycon hits the nail on the head, and what I've tried to hammer home in every role! (I usually go with prevention/detection/response, but same exact concept)

I've been searching for the Orange Book to complete my rainbow series for several years. Finally find it up for sale on eBay. I'm super secretive about it to tell no-one.... Checking it daily... and I'm the highest bidder. Last few mins a huge bidding war goes on, I win it but I overpay a ton. The mfer bidding against me was one of my folks at #TrustedSec @nyxgeek. Son of a bitch 😂

This is a HUGE deal. If you've ever purchased a #BloodHound shirt or otherwise donated to @MDAorg, your money has gone towards making this happen.
BREAKING NEWS: #MDA’s funding of foundational research leads to new drug approval by the @US_FDA of Duvyzat (Givinostat) to treat children and adolescents living with #DMD. Duvyzat (Givinostat) will be made available in the US by ITF Therapeutics: mda.org/press-releases/mdas-…

Shout-outs to Diddy, Nelly, and Murphy Lee for having the song ("Shake Ya Tailfeather") with sirens that doesn't bother me or upset the immersion. By the time the FSU war chant starts up, I'm already ready and waiting 🔥 youtube.com/watch?v=b3iSFXWG…

Hot take: the vast majority of orgs using Kubernetes today don't need it and its complexity is actively hurting security vs using a simpler solution the org actually understands.

I feel like this is all I tweet about nowadays, but you can do better @PayPal. Definitely a @PWTooStrong candidate... Also, that period is for the SENTENCE, not the allowed characters. Just to make things a hair more confusing/annoying.

PSA: Stop using midnight/12am as a deadline or milestone point for things. You only create ambiguity and confusion, and that goes double when you use it incorrectly. If you must, use 11:59pm or something similar. Example: Midnight on February 17th is in ~28 hours, not 52.
