Duke’s Rianne Malixi won the Landfall Tradition on Sunday by 9 shots over Wake’s Macy Pate. Malixi shot 12 under for 54 holes, nearly 24 strokes better than the field average. All but four of the 96 competitors were over par. She was 31 strokes better than the field average in her first college win, at the Sea Best last spring, where she shot 16 under. The Blue Devils also close out their fall with back-to-back wins, each victory coming in the field that included No. 1 Wake Forest.
