There's an outside chance of Boston hitting 70F 6 days in a row this Monday-Saturday
The record for 70s in a row during November is 4 (in 2020 and 2022)
Record for total 70s during the whole month is 6
Extremely mild stuff for the time of year, even if some of those days stay in the 60s
You can basically see the repetitive high pressure cycle all month on the calendar. Mildest return flow Thursdays and Fridays, cooler HP builds in on the weekends, rinse and repeat.
Month will end up a bit milder than average in the area
We've been reduced to litigating wind direction as the most interesting part of the forecast ahead
AI models have had the main cell high pressure south of us next week
Euro has the stronger cell north of us
Difference is just mild for the time of year (Euro), or exceptionally mild for the time of year (AI)
Might see Red Flag Warnings for brush fire risk tomorrow. They've been battling fires out in the Berkshires/Taconics...need to be careful with/avoid any outdoor flames on Friday. #wbz
Gonna be honest...not even sure there's much reason to keep it
All we really need going forward is excellent high-res initialization data for AI modeling, at least for global-scale models
Can't imagine why anyone would even look at the GFS on a daily basis
Another gorgeous October day in Boston
The total lack of strong winds/rain has kept the foliage machine rolling along
Almost comical
Latest AIFS run showing rainfall through the next 360 hours (15 days)
That would be....something
About as good as it gets for late October tomorrow. Sunshine and 70F with a nice breeze. Make some outdoor plans! #wbz
I assume we will pay for this at some point but man what an amazing stretch we've had. Another week of it on tap. #wbz
Hole punch cloud/fallstreak
A plane flying through a layer of supercooled water droplets causes them to form large ice crystals that fall out/down

Pretty wild that the water level in SoFla today was the same as when Hurricane Wilma was spinning by
Every week has had the same cadence recently. Brief cool shot as high pressure builds in, a cold night or two, then return flow back to mild. Rinse and repeat. Tonight is the bottom of this week's cycle...very chilly in the morning. #wbz
