APOLLO was a global, prospective study on acute presentations of colorectal cancer 🌍
Our first paper, in @WorldJSurg, focuses on management and outcomes 🧵
Main takeaway: emergency presentations of colorectal cancer care are associated with high short-term mortality and have a significant impact on cancer pathways, including palliative care ⚠️
