Today we made FCR a reality on the application layer!
Bridge from Ethereum to Gnosis Chain in seconds, not minutes! ⚡💪
Gnosis bridges are now the first production system to act on FCR on Ethereum mainnet.
Starting today, the xDAI bridge and Omnibridge use Ethereum's Fast Confirmation Rule (FCR). Deposits from Ethereum are confirmed in about one slot, instead of waiting for finality.
Bridging from Ethereum to Gnosis Chain just got MUCH faster, and it's a big step on Gnosis Chain's path to @etheconomiczone.
Here's why it matters.

Following Jordi, @filoozom will give a talk mapping out the concrete implementation path for Gnosis Chain.
He will break down what it takes to bring a mature, existing EVM chain into the zone, how the process will reshape Gnosis Chain’s architecture over time, and what a transition toward an L2 model with a sequencer and EEZ composer looks like in practice.

Tbh gnosis has been a masterclass in crisis management.
Inform early, act fast, don’t sugarcoat, take ownership and care about the end users.
Kudos.

Ethereum has entered its Gandhi era: Be the chain you want to see in the world.
Vitalik and I will walk through the zoo of networks we expect to see in the EEZ.

Ethereum stops being a single chain. It becomes an economic operating system.

Ethereum’s credible neutrality makes it the only settlement layer everyone can agree on. The @etheconomiczone builds on that: specialized zones each optimized for a different purpose: nation-state compliance, security-first infrastructure, low latency, consortium coordination. Individually interesting. Together, transformative.
The panel featuring Friederike Ernst and Vitalik Buterin explores what happens when these zones compose. Ethereum stops being a single chain and becomes an economic operating system.
My first ever @ProductHunt launch 😁🎉
I've been building Pagecorder for a while, and it's wild to finally put it out there. If you've ever wanted to turn a web page into a proper video, this is for you.
It's quite a niche product, but would mean a lot if you checked it out 🙏
Introducing… Pagecorder! 🎬
An API that turns any web page into an MP4 video. 60 FPS, audio, up to 4K, including 1080x1920 for YouTube Shorts.
Initially built it to automate YouTube content. Now shipping it so you can too.
Live on @ProductHunt today 👇
Fusaka was just activated and finalized on @gnosischain!
This hardfork was significantly delayed in comparison to mainnet, but we're back on track to deliver Glamsterdam on time 🔥
⚠️ Participation went down by ~6%, please update your nodes if you haven't yet!
Now live at @EthCC: @etheconomiczone!
Make rollups synchronously composable with the L1.
This makes finance composable across many rollups.
As if they were the same network.
All by keeping L2-only transactions efficient, on their own network.

Welcome to the Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ), a framework for synchronously composable rollups.
What does that mean?
One deployment. Shared liquidity. Single transactions across L1 & L2. Identity verified anywhere. Smart wallets connected everywhere. No additional trust assumptions.
This means L2s that are as credibly neutral, economically aligned, and publicly governed as the base layer itself.
EEZ furthers Ethereum as the leading decentralized economy.
