If you have kids, Washington state can hide them from you and facilitate irreversible gender transition procedures behind your back. This is an unbelievable violation of parental rights. The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear this case on December 7. We’re asking the Court to protect families and their children before irreversible damage has been done. First Liberty stands between the U.S. Constitution and those determined to rewrite it.

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in St. Mary Catholic Parish v. Roy. A group of Catholic preschools in Colorado challenged the state’s eligibility requirement that effectively excludes religious schools from a universal preschool program. We wrote a friend-of-the-court brief arguing that Colorado’s religious discrimination violates the First Amendment. This is an important religious liberty case that will have implications on several of our cases.

On Dec. 7, we’ll argue this case at the U.S. Supreme Court! This could have massive implications for religious liberty and parental rights in America. Parents (not the government) have a fundamental right to raise their children according to their own beliefs.

The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear two of our cases!

If you believe in religious freedom, you need to believe in voting. Don’t sit on the sidelines this election!

You can say, “Merry Christmas,” but you can’t talk about Jesus… The City of Tucson, Arizona is enforcing an unconstitutional ban on sharing the Gospel on public streets. David Hoffman was threatened with arrest and forced to leave the Winterhaven Festival of Lights for sharing his faith. Police officers enforced a discriminatory policy forbidding religious speech, including voluntary conversations. This is unconstitutional! We are representing David and asking the court to tell the City of Tucson, Arizona that it must allow David to freely talk about his faith at the festival this Christmas.

Marisol Castro was removed from her classroom after over 30 years of teaching. Why? For keeping a small, personal crucifix by her desk after being told to remove it. No teacher should have to choose between their faith and their job. We’re fighting to return Marisol to the classroom.

It is wrong for the government to prevent The Summit Church from building on its own land. We’re asking the court to correct this religious discrimination.
