With Trips, Swarm remembers your travels for you.
Just check in along the way, and Swarm automatically groups your check-ins, photos, and the people you were with into one shareable trip.
⚙️✨ New developer tool: the FSQ Places API for Partners!
Now available in beta, this API is a self-serve way for you to ingest and integrate your dataset with the FSQ Places dataset.
How it works:
→ Each of your records will be matched to an existing Foursquare POI.
→ If the POI doesn’t exist in our dataset, it’ll be added as a new place.
What this gets you:
✓ Permanent ID crosswalk: Query anytime to see which FSQ Place ID your foreign ID maps to.
✓ Rich attributes: Access your places’ associated details in our dataset (like popularity, ratings, and more).
✓ Discoverability: Make your locations findable across FSQ APIs to help others create better experiences.
✓ Visibility into edits: Directly track suggested and applied changes to the places whose IDs you own.

Location-based targeting lets you reach high-intent fans right when they’re locked into the action 💥
Here’s how one major beverage brand did it: they used Foursquare’s real-time geofencing around NFL stadiums to boost brand awareness and game-day association. Their campaign scored across the board:
→ 31% lift in brand recall
→ 28% lift in ad recall
→ 18% lift in purchase intent
Want your Q4 sports targeting playbook? Our latest guide gives you customizable audience and proximity segment ideas (think: NBA Travel Fans, College Athletes, Tailgating Crowds, etc.) that you can easily activate at launch or mid-flight.

School lists, good deals, or kids' preferences - what actually decides what goes into back-to-school carts this year? 🤔
It’s a familiar balance for parents! While kids' picks have the most influence, supply lists and sales are right behind.
And since 71% of families finish their shopping in the last few weeks before school starts, there's still time to reach high-intent shoppers who are actively filling carts.
💡 Running campaigns on @LiveRamp, @Google, or @TheTradeDesk? Filter for “Foursquare” and search “Back to School” to activate off-the-shelf audience segments like:
→ Parents Preparing School Lunch
→ Children’s Clothing Shoppers
→ College Dorm Shoppers
