Phyllis "Pippa" Latour, born in 1921, was an SOE agent in WW2, who parachuted into Normandy in 1944. She operated as a radio operator, sending 135 coded messages, crucial for D-Day operations. "Pippa" passed away in 2023 aged 102.

75th Stirlingshire Regt Indian Mutiny war memorial stood on the Esplanade outside the Castle in #Stirling see warmemorialsonline.org.uk/me…. In 2022, it was reported as removed due to damage so it is showing as 'Very bad'. Can anyone check if this is still the case? @HistEnvScot
