From AI Use Cases to Working Prototypes! 🚆🤖
NeGD, @GoI_MeitY, conducted a 3-day AI PoC development Workshop for the Accounts Department of Indian Railways at the NeGD AI Lab, Noida, from 14-16 October 2026, bringing together six teams to develop practical AI solutions for railway accounting and financial operations.
The workshop featured hands-on build sprints, expert sessions and dedicated mentorship, covering six use cases, including railway internal check, financial estimate vetting, PVC calculation, payroll intelligence, workshop costing and pension/NPS processing. The programme culminated in prototype demonstrations before a jury, with a focus on responsible AI, cybersecurity, data privacy and the way forward from proof of concept to pilot implementation.✨

On the commencement of "Vigilance Awareness Week 2026", Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, administered the Integrity Pledge to officials of the Ministry, in the presence of CISF personnel.
