Serverless Framework v4.43.0 is now even better for AI coding agents.
The big one: `serverless agent inspect` reads your deployed AWS infrastructure, logs, and more, and pulls back only the essentials.
Less context bloat. Fewer tokens. Faster.
`npx serverless agent setup`
Debugging AccessDenied? That shows the function config and its role's decoded policies in one shot.
More ways in:
`--api` routes & integrations
`--events` SNS, SQS, EventBridge
`--storage` DynamoDB & S3
`--observability` logs & alarms
`--name <LogicalId>` one resource

MCP needed sessions. On AWS Lambda that meant syncing session state externally (DynamoDB, Redis) since there's no server instance to hold it in memory. The spec went stateless July 28, so there's no session to sync in the first place.
Now it just fits.

I absolutely love this! serverless.com now lets you deploy MCP servers on AWS Lambda with just four lines of YAML
I've been using @goserverless for years to deploy Lambda functions on AWS, and being able to use it for MCPs is a huge leap forward

MCP went stateless on July 28. Serverless Framework v4.41.0 now deploys MCP servers to AWS Lambda.
HTTPS endpoint, response streaming, pay-per-request pricing, and more in four lines of YAML.

Serverless Inc. is not affected by the active keyv/@cacheable npm supply chain attack. Thanks to the team at @SocketSecurity for the heads up.
Introducing Sandboxes in the Serverless Framework.
AWS Lambda MicroVMs are built for running untrusted and agent-generated code safely.
Now you can define an entire sandbox architecture with a new high-level "sandboxes" primitive in your serverless.yml, then develop and deploy it with a few powerful commands.
Available today in v4.39.0.
The details you would otherwise wire up by hand are already there:
• Lifecycle hooks to gate readiness and dispatch each session
• Metrics, alarms, and a dashboard, on by default
It is a complete workflow, not just a way to launch a VM.
Sandboxes are available in Serverless Framework v4.39.0.
