Kite Mainnet is now live.
This is not just another mainnet. It is the first blockchain built for agentic payments.
Designed for an agent-first internet, for builders, and for the future Agent Economy.
What makes Kite Mainnet different:
Built for builders and agents. Not chasing TVL. Not chasing the next DeFi cycle. Not competing for idle speculative capital.
Three layers, one platform:
• Settlement Layer: built for high-frequency, low-value, agent-driven stablecoin-native transactions.
• Kite Agent Passport: unifies identity, delegated authority, and programmable governance.
• Agent Interface & Experience: where agents and developers interact with the system through agent registration, agent harnesses, and service discovery.
A unified hub for all major payment protocol standards, including x402, Google AP2, and Stripe MPP.

Agentic payments advanced across B2B invoices, merchant checkout and identity verification at and around Money20/20 USA.
Here are seven developments worth catching up on:
1️⃣ Visa, BILL and Billtrust launched a live pilot enabling authenticated AI agents to complete buyer-approved invoice payments through supplier portals, using tokenized credentials and buyer-defined controls.
corporate.visa.com/en/sites/…
2️⃣ Evervault launched Browser Tokens at Money20/20. Already live for customers, the product lets agents complete purchases and account logins using short-lived tokens, keeping raw card details and passwords out of the agent.
businesswire.com/news/home/2…
3️⃣ Proof and Circle announced a joint Money20/20 demo combining verified identity and signed purchase approval over x401 with USDC payments over x402 from a Circle Agent Wallet.
proof.com/blog/proof-and-cir…
4️⃣ Skyfire and Forter expanded their partnership to bring Know Your Agent identity data into checkout fraud decisions. The integration helps merchants distinguish authorized shopping agents from malicious automation, with Jomashop as a named pilot.
businesswire.com/news/home/2…
5️⃣ World unveiled World ID for banking and finance onstage at Money20/20. The suite includes tools for people to delegate identity proofs to agents, with the underlying AgentKit developer tools currently in beta.
world.org/blog/announcements…
6️⃣ Ahead of the conference, American Express published its Intent Intelligence framework on October 13. It captures and authenticates customer purchase intent before an agent transacts, making that intent available to issuers and carrying it through the payment lifecycle.
americanexpress.com/en-us/ne…
7️⃣ Separately, at Cloudflare Connect on October 20, Mastercard opened Agent Pay for Machines Early Access. Built on x402, it lets developers test agent payments for digital services within approved budgets and permissions, using signed payment vouchers.
mastercard.com/global/en/new…
Together, these developments point to a clear priority for the agent economy: verifiable identity, explicit authorization and controls that stay with every payment. 🪁
🤖 Made with AI
Money20/20 USA is one of the world's leading gatherings for banking, payments and fintech.
This year in Las Vegas, participants included @Visa, @Mastercard, @AmericanExpress, @PayPal, @stripe, @Google and @OpenAI. We joined industry peers at @money2020 to explore how agents can transact on behalf of people and businesses.
Three developments stood out:
▷ Identity and payment are coming together. Proof and @circle paired x401 identity verification with x402 USDC payments in a joint demo.
▷ B2B is moving into live pilots. @Visa, BILL and Billtrust launched a pilot for agents to complete buyer-approved supplier invoice payments.
▷ Checkout needs to work on today's web. Evervault launched Browser Tokens so agents can complete purchases without seeing the underlying card details.
This is the foundation we're building with Kite Agent Passport: verifiable agent identity, user-defined permissions and spending limits, and agentic payments.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and shared their perspectives. Let's keep building the agent economy. 🪁

Your agent already pays within the limits you set. Now it can act for you when the market moves.
This is our new Kite Agent Passport release film. Four new capabilities, eleven refinements, one watch.
1️⃣ Aave auto-repay. For a USDC-only loan on Base, set a health-factor threshold and an amount, approve once with your passkey. If the loan crosses that line, Kite Passport repays that amount for you, once. Your agent arms, checks or cancels it with kpass defi (CLI 6.8.0+).
2️⃣ Arc mainnet is now supported in your Kite Passport wallet, and Arc services appear in the catalog. The catalog also drops services on chains that stopped working.
3️⃣ A new look for the dashboard and landing page, with Dark and Night modes. Explore is open to everyone: browse 2,000+ services and recipes with no sign-in.
4️⃣ Sharper sessions: type an expiry and switch between minutes, hours and days without changing its length. Amounts show two decimals, with tiny amounts as "<$0.01". Short or very cheap requests are no longer refused, and the Playground replays a real agent paying under a session.
5️⃣ Payments explain themselves: a failed payment tells you whether you were charged, vouchers say why they failed and your balance updates the moment one lands, and x402 picks the method that actually settles.
Update your Kite Passport and try it today. 🪁
Agentic commerce needs buyers, sellers and infrastructure both can trust.

AI agents are moving from answering questions to taking action. What will it take for them to do business onchain?
At SF Tech Week, our Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData joined @Team1USA_ and fellow builders at The New Business Stack: Blockchain × AI to discuss agent payments and the future of onchain business.
From Kite’s perspective, agents need verifiable identity, clear authority from the people they represent, and payment infrastructure that keeps every transaction within defined limits.
Thanks to @Team1USA_ for bringing the conversation together. Let’s keep building the agent economy. 🪁
That’s a wrap on The New Business Stack: Blockchain × AI at SF Tech Week 🔺

What if every shop on your trip to Japan had an agent ready to talk to yours?
In June, we showed how ZUKKU, an AI travel concierge for Japan, could book and pay within the rules you set. Our new Kite Agent Passport film walks you through ZUKKU AI Travel. The phone footage is a real screen recording from September.
▷ Sign up with just a name and an email, and ZUKKU calls you to talk through your trip. Your agent then handles the back-and-forth with each shop's agent by email.
▷ On ZUKKU Yokocho, every shop has an agent, taught by its owner. Ango, an inn in Shibuya, estimates ¥9,000 to ¥14,000 per person for a group of five.
▷ If the price fits your budget, you approve it, and the payment settles through Kite Agent Passport, agent to agent.
Travel with an agent. Keep your budget. 🪁
What makes it safe to give an agent a budget, or let it do business with another agent?
On October 6 at C1 Transform 2026 in San Francisco, our co-founder and CEO @ChiZhangData delivered “Enabling Agents as Economic Actors with AI-Native Infrastructure,” exploring the infrastructure agents need to act as economic participants:
▷ Verifiable identity and bounded authority, so agents act within their budgets and permissions.
▷ Clear transaction terms and acceptance criteria, with settlement based on evidence of delivery.
▷ Auditable transaction records that trace every payment back to the human who authorized it.
The conference featured speakers from @AnthropicAI @spacexai @nvidia @vercel @brexHQ @togethercompute @TrustVanta @daytonaio and @DraftKings.
Thank you @ConductorOneInc for bringing AI, engineering and security leaders together to explore agent governance and deployment.
Let's keep building the agent economy. 🪁

Four sessions. One focus: the future of the agent economy.
Kite participated in four roundtables and panels at EastPoint:Seoul 2026, hosted by @0xEastPoint, exploring agentic commerce, financial infrastructure, and agent identity.
The event brought together representatives from KakaoPay, @googlecloud, @Visa, LG Electronics (@LGE_Global), Samsung Card (@withSamsungCard), and Franklin Templeton (@FTI_US), alongside institutions including the Bank of Korea (@bok_hub) and Korea Exchange.
Our CMO @Cindyshi0907 joined the main stage for “Machine-to-Machine Money: Agentic Commerce and the New Settlement Layer.”
Joining her were Jansen Teng, Co-Founder of @virtuals_io; Joe Hwang, Regional Lead at @googlecloud; and Dennis Won, CTO of Newton Labs (@Newton_xyz). The panel was moderated by Jongsub Lee, Professor at Seoul National University.
The session’s central questions:
▷ How can agents establish verifiable identities and transact within clearly defined permissions?
▷ Who should be accountable when an agent makes the wrong purchase or executes a transaction in error?
▷ Do agent payments need new settlement infrastructure, or can existing payment systems support them?
These questions connect directly to Kite’s Human-Agent-Session identity architecture: distinguishing the person granting authority, the agent acting on it, and the permissions for each session.
Thank you to @0xEastPoint for bringing this conversation together. We’ll keep building the infrastructure for trusted agentic commerce. 🪁
The next wave of AI and onchain products should start with real-world needs.
At AI & Emerging Onchain Assets during @token2049 Singapore, our CMO @Cindyshi0907 joined speakers from @Stable, @AEON_Community and @TadaPay_ai for the panel “AI × Onchain Assets: What Is Worth Building for the Real World?”
Thank you @BixinVentures and @PrincipiaLabs_ for bringing builders together. 🪁
What happens when your agent team needs to spend?
@Shopify just shipped connectors to @grok and @bot, so a team of agents can help run your Shopify store. This is our new Kite Agent Passport film: it picks up at the moment that team needs money. The ask on screen: "Run my Shopify weekend sale. Budget: $500."
▷ One passkey approval sets the limits: a $500 cap, a 48-hour window, and what the team may spend on (ads, suppliers, data).
▷ Every payment gets a stamp: $200 on an X ad push, $180 on restocking, $12 on keyword data via x402, each signed and auditable.
▷ Over the cap, blocked: a +$150 ad request stops at the limit. $392 of $500 spent, the rest holds.
Agents that can act should be able to pay, within the boundaries you set.
Give your agents a passport. 🪁
For AI agents to act and transact, identity, authorization and payments need to work together.
At gm AI v2 during TOKEN2049 Singapore, our Co-Founder & CTO @scottshics delivered a keynote showcasing Kite’s use cases and explaining its core mechanisms for agents acting and transacting on behalf of users.
▷ Kite Agent Passport provides agents with verifiable identity.
▷ Clear permissions and spending limits keep agents within user-defined boundaries.
▷ Payment infrastructure supports safe, verifiable transactions.
Thank you @0xJeff and our fellow co-hosts @BlockRunAI @codecopenflow @dphnAI @openservai @Reppo for bringing builders together.
Let's keep building the agent economy. 🪁
