I have had this graph as part of my pitch introduction for some time now...
Access to energy is the gatekeeper for a nation's progress. The only thing we can do apart from enlarging our energy source, is improving efficiency of utilization... so that we get more from the same amount of energy.
LED and BLDC fans are good household examples of this. So is EV for mobility. Electrons carry this efficient form of energy. Building the technology to store this energy, is of paramount importance to us...

Last month, I spent time working with 7 social impact startup founders as part of the Kotak BizLabs programme by IIMA Ventures.
Almost all of them had built their products and were generating revenue, but their business positioning and narrative needed more clarity.
Most founders think the hardest part is building the product and getting the first revenue, but I have seen many founders struggle with something much simpler:
𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐦.
Through one-on-one sessions with each founder, I helped them define their business positioning and value proposition, and strengthen their storytelling so they could pitch to investors with greater clarity and confidence.
Thank you to IIMA Ventures for the opportunity. I hope the founders found this engagement as valuable as I did, and I wish them all the best.
If you are building a social impact startup and looking for mentorship, structured support, and a grant of up to ₹30 lakh, Kotak BizLabs 3.0 applications are now open.
Apply here (iimaventures.com/programs/ko…) - Deadline is 9th October 2026.
Share this with a founder friend who you think should apply.
