Dear Americans, I am a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and I want to tell you something. Freedom is not measured in dollars. Freedom is not measured by the price of diesel in your car’s tank. Freedom is measured by a nation’s willingness to fight for its country, its people, and its right to exist. We Ukrainians know the price of freedom. We pay it in blood. Every single day. We will continue striking Russian military targets. We will continue fighting Russian invaders on land, at sea, and in the sky. In Ukraine and wherever Russia wages its war against us. Because we are not fighting for money, oil, or comfort. We are fighting for our homeland. For our future. For our FREEDOM. And we will never surrender it.
