🇺🇸 Pete Hegseth just got absolutely humiliated by Senator Tammy Duckworth! Senator Tammy Duckworth, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who lost both legs while serving in Iraq, challenged Hegseth: "I'm glad you brought that up. Can you name a single country that belongs to ASEAN and explain what agreement we have with it? And, by the way, how many countries are in ASEAN? Frankly, I'm not sure you even know who our allies are." Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: "Well, I can't give you the exact number, but I certainly know our allies in South Korea, Japan, and Australia..." Senator Duckworth: "None of the countries you just mentioned are members of ASEAN. I suggest you do your homework before engaging in these discussions." And this is the kind of clueless bullshit running the Pentagon. Absolutely unbelievable.

When GBNews admit it.......you know it's got to be bad!
It seems to have been a struggle to find volunteers to fill the room for Reform UK’s pre-Budget announcement today. Watch now on @GBNEWS.

Laughing at all these posts talking about how Thatcher worked 20 hours a day, and all Burnham can do is go on Gogglebox. Here’s Thatcher with her close mate Jimmy Savile on one of her many light entertainment appearances 😭

WATCH: Another angle of yesterday’s Jet2 Boeing 737-800 (G-JZHE), operating flight LS1310 from Venice, shows the moment it veered off the runway at Birmingham Airport, UK. Crosswind landings require precise control inputs, especially during the flare and the transition to ground roll. During the flare, the pilot uses the rudder to align the aircraft’s nose with the runway while applying opposite aileron as needed to prevent the upwind wing from lifting. In this case, right rudder would be required if the aircraft needed to yaw to the right to align with the runway. Timing is critical. Correcting too early or using the wrong combination of rudder and aileron can cause lateral drift. At touchdown, the aircraft should be aligned as closely as practicable with the runway centerline. Once on the ground, rudder effectiveness decreases as speed reduces. Nose-wheel steering, linked to the rudder pedals on the 737, helps maintain directional control during the rollout. However, strong crosswinds and sudden gusts can make the aircraft difficult to keep aligned. Birmingham Airport (BHX) is known for challenging crosswind conditions, and the recent Storm Boelo and Austen affecting the UK made these conditions even more demanding. Something worth noting: if the pilot transitions from the rudder pedals to the toe brakes and releases some right-rudder input before directional control is fully established, that could affect the aircraft’s alignment. However, the footage alone is not enough to confirm the exact control inputs or establish the cause of the runway excursion. Had the aircraft struck the elevated runway edge lights or other hard objects, the landing gear tire could have burst immediately! I am sure there are deep cuts on the left main gear tire and some flat spots due to excessive braking. After such an incident, the crew normally reports the occurrence through the operator’s safety reporting system and files an Air Safety Report. The aircraft would also require an appropriate inspection before returning to service, with the extent of the checks determined by the event and the applicable maintenance procedures. The CAA will be involved locally. I have seen instances where, after an incident, pilots simply park the aircraft at the gate and leave without filing a report to cover themselves, which is bad practice. During inspection, maintenance finds out, and then they are in trouble. Video from the UK-Aviation-Spotter link in the first comment.

It took Andy Burnham just three months to inherit the same levels of hatred and vitriol that drove Keir Starmer out of office. Apparently, we’re now supposed to believe that another lifelong public servant becomes PM and suddenly his mission is to deliberately “import rapists and criminals”, the phrase so many have been conditioned to repeat, and destroy our country. We’re supposed to believe that, are we? Despite immigration falling dramatically under this government and crime declining over the longer term. You can’t even let the man spend one evening at home filming a TV show to raise awareness for a cancer charity without people piling on with manufactured outrage. Just think about how ridiculous that is. Same narratives. Same fearmongering. Same manufactured outrage. And the same people falling for it, just as they did with Starmer. This has nothing to do with Burnham. It wouldn’t have mattered who was in power or what policies they pursued. A decade of manipulation has left people primed to have their fear and anger switched on in a heartbeat and directed at whoever those driving the outrage want to destroy. And so many have become part of that machine without even realising it.
