AntiPalestinian Racism (and hatred) is so normalised that any random someone can throw unfounded racist insults against a population that is being slaughtered, and be met with cheers (rather than rotten vegetables). So the NSW Labor Premier is backing in the NSW Police marching in Sydney Mardi Gras.
It is beyond belief that those advocating for the police - with claims of inclusion and workers rights - remain ignorant to the trauma, violence & systematic racism inflicted by the police…🧵
The first Mardi Gras in ‘78 was met with police brutality - and although there was a formal apology made for those wrongs, shamefully police brutality continues to this very day inflicted on elderly women, young First Nations men, and so many more in our community…
