Had a great first session with @kedc_epic by Ingrid Denney today. She really challenged me to be more mindful not only for myself but my students too. What a wonderful way to start off our grant year! @KEDCGrants @KyWriteRight

A tour of the St. Louis Cathedral with @KEDCGrants was a moving experience. During our time there, we learned about New Spain, New France, Catholicism, and how those forces shaped New Orleans into what it is today. It was an immersive experience with the local community.

Appreciate the hard work the people of @Oak_Alley plantation do to preserve the history of the home, its many owners, & the enslaved who once lived there.
