Enjoyed a lively policy discussion and great fellowship at the @NTxCommission Legislative Summit in Fort Worth yesterday. Great to be with my #txlege colleagues @PhilKingTX @JaredLPatterson & @plesafortexas and all of the North Texas elected officials and leaders in attendance. #txlege
To our friends and neighbors in House District 67: thank you from the bottom of my heart. To have your trust once again means more than I can adequately put into words. Serving you in the Texas House is the honor of a lifetime, and I will never take it for granted.
Even as I celebrate this hard-fought victory, I recognize the devastating defeats Republicans suffered across Texas and our nation. The voters have spoken — loudly and clearly. And we Republicans would be wise to listen.
We cannot keep confusing political infighting with leadership, angry rhetoric with conviction, or winning arguments with delivering actual results. Texans all around us are worried about rising costs, crushing property taxes, the safety and quality of their children’s schools and the protection of their fundamental rights and liberties. These Texans deserve solutions, not excuses.
We must stand firm on our conservative principles without treating those who disagree with us as enemies. We must lead with conviction and humility. And we must remain fiercely committed to the people and to the principles that caused us to pursue public service in the first place.
Elections come and go. Majorities rise and fall. But my commitment to the people of HD 67 and the conservative principles I hold dear is unwavering and stronger than ever.
The God I serve is in the business of rebuilding what is broken, breathing life into what is dead, and making all things new. My earnest prayer is that He will do just that for our Republican Party — in Texas and beyond.
The people of Texas are counting on us. And we cannot let them down.
Texas Forever,
Jeff

So what’s your point?!
Reese's Pieces have no chocolate in them. The peanuts had their oil pressed out and a cheaper fat put back in.
Sugar is first, then partially defatted peanuts, then hydrogenated palm kernel and soybean oil, then corn syrup solids. Everything after that is 2% or less, and it's the dyes, the glaze, some vanillin and a little milk. There's no cocoa anywhere.
Partially defatted just means the peanuts went through a press. The peanut oil comes out one side and gets sold as peanut oil. What's left is a dry peanut flour, and that's what the center is made from, because flour holds a shape in a panning drum and doesn't go rancid. Then they put fat back in, and the fat they picked is hydrogenated palm kernel oil, which is solid at room temperature and costs less than peanut oil. You can see the swap on the panel. 38 pieces have 6 g of fat and all 6 are saturated. Peanut oil is mostly unsaturated, so that number isn't the peanut.
The shell is sugar with 4 dyes and a coat of shellac.
#TeamLeach has been here for 99 hours of voting so far. And we’ll be here for each of the 36 hours remaining. Every single voice and every single vote matters and there is too much at stake for you to stay silent and to stay home. We hope to see you at the polls! #TX67
Grateful to have the support and endorsement of Mayors all over #TX67 — including Allen Mayor Chris Schulmeister, who stopped by to help out at the polls this morning. The fellowship and collaboration I share with these great local leaders is a blessing to me and all of #TeamLeach. #txlege
Grateful to vote today with the OG Team Leach — including Brady who traveled home to cast his first ballot ever. What a privilege it is to have this freedom — and what a blessing it is to exercise it with my family. #txlege #TX67 #TeamLeach
We’re absolutely exhausted but our hearts are full after 12 hours with tons of voters and the very best and most fun volunteers anywhere in Texas. #TeamLeach will be up and at ‘em again tomorrow — with polls open across #TX67 from 11am to 5pm. #txlege
