This is us, the MND Association. Renewed, united and driven every day to make change happen.
Every day we support people affected by motor neurone disease, campaign for better care and fund ground-breaking research.
Because with MND, every day matters.
Last night, the Kevin Sinfield documentary aired on BBC, "Thank You, Sir Kev", celebrating the incredible impact he’s had on the MND community through the money he’s raised and the awareness he’s brought to Motor Neurone Disease.
He knows like we do, that the fight against MND doesn’t stop at the finish line. This is a behind the scenes look at our campaign, 'Life stripped Away'. It tells the stories of Jaki, Steve, Tahira and Lorraine, who are all living with MND, and who all generously shared their stories with us.
They are a powerful reminder of why this work matters - and why there’s still so much more to do. Help us stop MND.
More than 200 health and social care professionals came together in Birmingham for Inspire 2026, the MND Association's annual networking event for members of the Community of Practice.

NOTE: While we believe this announcement is a step in the right direction we understand these changes can’t come quickly enough to people living with MND and their families who need support right now.
While there will be more detail to come in the Budget tomorrow we will continue to work closely with the Casey Commission and DHSC and press for these reforms to be implemented swiftly to ensure carers are financially supported.
As the clocks go back, take an hour to think ahead. 🕒
We sat down with MND Connect Advisor Ellie to discuss preparing for winter with MND. From making sure prescriptions are up to date to planning for seasonal challenges, a little preparation now could help make the months ahead easier to manage. 🧡
Dancing, friends and family. These are the things that matter most to Lorraine. Meet the incredible people behind our national campaign.

Tahira loved gardening with her grandchildren. But because of MND, now her hands can't grip a trowel. Help us stop it. Head to mndassoc.org/life-stripped-a…
Jaki is a born performer, taking to the boards as Nancy in Oliver! Now, MND has stripped away the things she loved - like performing. Help us stop it. Visit mndassoc.org/life-stripped-a… .
Before MND stripped away the things she loved, Jaki loved to sing. 🎶
Imagine losing the ability to do something that brings you joy. What's one thing you'd hate to no longer be able to do?

Go Oscar go! 🧡👏
After being inspired by reading ‘Try’, the children's book written by Sir Kev, 7 year old Oscar set himself a challenge to raise money for MND: walking every day for 7 days! And that’s just the beginning - he plans to walk 77 miles before Christmas to continue to raise vital funds.
