i really have a new appreciation for peopleβ in this case artists who donβt try and profit from fanfiction. cause honestly selling anything fanfic related is illegal & shitty but itβs so much worse when youβre profiting off a fic taken off the internet for that exact reason.

"The answer is no," Sirius repeated for the third or tenth time. Honestly, he thought it was Harry who gave him the most trouble, but Hermione had been on one all week. Even Remus stood clear of her lately.
"Good thing I didn't ask," the brat huffed.

If you want to sell merch from a trad published book you need licensing permission, yes? So walk with me hereβ¦ If authors canβt make money from fanfic, because itβs copyright infringement, therefore canβt license it to YOU, how would it possibly be ok to sell merch of a fic?
