Think about what he did.. Americans are learning that “independent journalism” is dead… and all these fake ass journalists are using talking points that are literally spoon fed to them. In a nutshell, James Comey told the reporter classified details about how the U.S. government performs email surveillance, specifically regarding how Yahoo adapted its spam filters to secretly scan users' emails for the FBI. Originally… Reuters published a news story about government surveillance, and Comey felt it was inaccurate. To "correct it," Comey directed his staff (including the FBI's top lawyer) to leak the classified facts to The New York Times. As a result, The New York Times then published an article revealing the exact classified details of the FBI-Yahoo surveillance program. The Justice Department waited until the very last minute to file charges because they were racing against a strict 10-year statute of limitations. Because prosecutors were running out of time to present the case to a grand jury for a formal indictment, they used a shortcut called a "criminal information". This allowed them to place charges on the docket under seal without grand jury approval. This is years in the making, beginning with John Durham… who did investigate this exact leak in 2017– he even officially recommended against charges. He did something far more important— he got them on record. Pieces of a puzzle… that will fit and make sense one day soon.

In other news… Brazil still has election problems… Brazil held its presidential runoff election yesterday and Flávio Bolsonaro “lost” and Lula da Silva will serve another 4 year term 64.3 million (51.79%) for Lula versus 59.8 million (48.21%) for Flávio Bolsonaro, Flávio is refusing to concede and said he will seek to have the election annulled. A last-minute Supreme Court decision (by Justice Cristiano Zanin) extended voting by two hours nationwide because of reported “problems with voter transportation to polling stations.”. As soon the election was extended, Lula’s votes skyrocketed.. funny how that works.

President Trump has done things from time to time that I simply did not understand. After some time has passed, it usually ends up coming full circle and ends up making way more sense later… kinda like a curtain reveal. This and next week are important for different reasons, but whatever occurs, I do trust the man. All we can do is pray for him and ask God to strengthen and guide him to make the very best decisions he can for our country… but it’s not just about our country. We have to remember that. We all think we know what he’s up against. Although I believe we have a better idea than most, there’s a spiritual side to all of this we cannot comprehend. Whether or not you’re fully on board with Trump, God is showing us things in this season of life. I believe for the better.

Before I get back into the mix of things, I want to share this with you. Several weeks ago, I watched my wife give birth to our fourth child. I’ve been through this three other times before, but this is the last baby we’ll have brought into this world. Which means, one part of our life is ending, and a new cycle is beginning. One day, my boys will grow up and have families of their own. And the cycle of love and life will continue if I’ve raised my boys correctly.. Each day, each minute I have now with them is more precious than the last.. I’m going to continue to savor it as much as I possibly can, for as long as I possibly can. As a father, I love my boys beyond what I can possibly articulate to you. My wife, my best friend… the same. I hope everyone gets to feel something like this in their lifetime.
