Exactly 198 days into his abduction, comrade Christopher Goddy aka King Zale, a local musician has neither been produced in court nor released by his captors. He is one of the many comrades that were spotted in the recent videos released by the now exiled UPDF officer Lt. Herbert Matanda Mabonga. The regime remains silent on these atrocities with no signs of holding its actors accountable. We demand for the release of comrade King Zale, Sam Mugumya and all the missing persons being illegally held at the basement facility/ ‘safe house’

A few moments back, I just received the most devastating news regarding the untimely passing of our brother, dear friend and comrade Yokana Mbuuse fondly called Kapere Lufotose. A man who made every dark moment light. A man who loved his country and wished it well! A loss so difficult to take in.

The lecture was held in the Arthur Lewis Auditorium: Robertson Hall where Bobi Wine addressed some of the University's students and faculty about the place of Africa and Africans in the world, using #Uganda as a case study.
This event was co-sponsored by The Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination and The Africa World Initiative - AWI (@AWIPrinceton) among others; and moderated by Aly Kassam-Remtulla, Vice Provost for International Affairs and Operations.
Our Deputy President for Buganda Hon. @MuwangaMKivumbi has also embraced the #BobiWineSolidarityDay by planting a tree to preserve our environment.

We've been notified of the abduction this evening of our comrade Blood Mo from Iganga. Onlookers say many armed operatives came to where he was and whisked him off to an unknown destination thus far. And the violations continue😠

Comrade Olivia Lutaaya has finally reunited with us after braving nearly a full year under detention on trumped up charges of unlawful drilling since her arrest from Mbarara on November 7th, 2025.
Lest we forget, she had again spent close to 5 years under detention by the military court between 2021-2024, a heavy price she has paid for her conviction for freedom.

Very pleased to welcome back comrade Olivia Lutaaya from detention. Olivia has paid such a heavy price for simply believing that Uganda deserves better. Out of the 6 years of @NUP_Ug, she has spent 5 years in detention at various times over trumped up charges. Despite the grave persecution she has endured, she is still committed to what she believes in.
Welcome back comrade! Uganda will be free.
Our legal team is at the Kajjansi Court following up on the matter of our 20 supporters who were picked up from boda-Bodas and taxis after the burial of Hon. Charles Matovu. We understand that they are likely to be charged with common nuisance yet ironically they were mourners picked from public transport means and arrested on suspicion. Fortunately, the earlier charge of assault and deflating car tyres could not stand as there was no evidence to back it up.

After ten months in detention for no crime whatsoever, we're pleased to receive back our comrades Kato Paul and Kadonya from detention. The two, who stood charged with 'unlawful drilling' were pushed into pleading guilty to crimes they didn't commit so as to secure their freedom, given that after all this period on remand, their trial was yet to commence. Once again, we're very grateful to all those who continue to stand with and demand for the release of all political prisoners!

Our supporters were arrested at Mpumudde Police Patrol Roadblock as they were coming from the burial. Whoever was heading toward Nakawuka and had anything red on him was arrested. Taxis, bodabodas were stopped and people removed. The alleged offence is assault of an MP.
