Another. Just crossed. Range of motion you don't usually get to see, because it doesn't occur to them to do it voluntarily for no reason.

a.co/d/iN6f70h Wanted to share a book series that I found by accident recently, because, due to my "Glyptography" book, I was looking up "african painted wolf book" on Amazon, one of the few websites not blocked at my workplace.

This is a dramatic account of a pack of painted wolves, but with its two feet buried in a scientific and conservationist perspective. Because of this, some of the interactions can end up unsatisfying, like they are in reality, but it is a great adventure, especially the third book.

I'm loathe to contribute to Twitter any longer due to the politics of its mismanagement, but, I have to share this picture of a Hyena. Look at the hind foot on the right. It looks totally broken, yet, this is apparently normal range of movement. It's just like the forepaws.

I seem to be developing some kind of tooth or gum problem. I'm lucky that I have a dentist's appt. in one day. (And that we're in an era where we can create fake teeth. Maybe in the distant future, we'll be able to grow real teeth from our own stem cells and implant them.)

I have two cavities and am in need of a deep cleaning of my gums. I might have another cavity that I need to bring up to them. One of my appointments is on Wednesday the 21st, so NofNA can't update that Saturday. Other updates are unaffected.

Logged into my Livejournal account for the first time in about 7 years, to retrieve what I can of the outline for the next NofNA story.

Ooh, apparently, this isn't true. I left a note to myself as recently as July 14th, 2020!

Either the next NofNA page is large, or the page after that, so the update schedule will be in question for around the next week or two.

I wish that we could have summer vacation as working adults, like teachers. If that creates a defecit of workers, let's just rotate the vacation times.
