Oregon's offense has been inept, but I suspect it doesn't help that the #3 offense in the country currently belongs to the team down the road in Corvallis
Flipped over to UCF / BYU with about a minute to play...I got more insanity from that point to the end of regulation than should be allowed
Disastrous loss for Oregon...after an emotional few weeks and riddled with injury, they hit the wall at Illinois after scoring with ease on the first drive. Massive win for Illinois.
At the Gummy Game of the Week, currently taking place in Atlanta, the officials are getting into the spirit of it by throwing a flag every other play...there's no way to make it through this sober
Indiana wins @ Michigan for the 1st time since 1967...fitting since today's game set college football back about 60 years
As expected, the Illinois defense offered zero resistance on Oregon's first drive...the reeling Oregon offense is beyond happy to be playing in Champaign today
The under is in good shape in Ann Arbor after Michigan's 8-minute drive to start the 2nd half ends with a short field goal attempt...that was wide left by 20 yards
Dr. Evil (Chip Kelly) and mini-me (Jerry Neuheisel) have already run up 250 yards on Rutgers in the middle of the 2nd quarter
This has turned into a dangerous game for Indiana...they've controlled the game, started deep in Michigan territory twice after turnovers, and only lead 6-0 in the 2nd quarter
It has always made more sense for Michigan to play the noon game instead of Ohio State...a lot of ticket holders in the lower bowl can't drive at night and eat dinner at 2:30 in the afternoon

I'm not sure if Chandler Simpson is more like Vince Coleman or Willie Mays Hayes, but either way, it's awesome to see that dimension as a factor again in the MLB playoffs

The tragedy of this year's Bills is a generationally bad secondary...they've escaped against the Raiders, but teams are out there that can stop them enough to exploit all their weaknesses (see Kansas City)
The Bills do not have a prolific receiving corps, yet the Raiders feel the need to hold or interfere on every pass play instead of simply covering them
The Las Vegas Raiders won the coin toss and deferred, which gave them the coveted first possession of the 2nd half...which was great until they used it for a 22 second three and out
Ho hum...another 8 1/2 minute drive for UCLA. Totally old school philosophy (60% run plays) and so far, it's working
