South Korea is moving fast on tokenized capital markets and Avalanche is a key part of the infrastructure. Over the past two months, South Korea’s Financial Services Commission has outlined a roadmap for tokenized stocks, bonds and funds, with the first phase set to begin in February 2027. The Korea Securities Depository is building infrastructure connectivity on Avalanche to help bring those markets onchain. The ambition spans the full securities lifecycle: issuance, trading, clearing, settlement and investor rights, with eventual onchain settlement.
