One launch is all it takes 🎶
We launched Beam on Monday and hit #1 on Product Hunt. The most requested feature was Intel Mac support. We shipped it three days later. Beam now runs on any Intel Mac with macOS 14 or later, in both directions. Beam its windows or whole desktop to another Mac, or sit at the Intel Mac and open windows from your other Macs. That old Intel Mac gathering dust has a job again. This is a 2018 Intel Mac mini running Beam in Whole Mac mode. beam.win

For those about to launch, this is for you.
There’s a misconception that a successful launch video needs to cost tens of thousands of dollars and feel like a high production commercial. But @FarzaTV has a different approach. Farza is the founder of @heyclicky and previously built Buildspace, one of the largest online schools for people working on their own ideas. He’s been making videos for over a decade, and today his posts regularly get millions of views. Rather than treating launches as rare, high-stakes moments, he’s made them part of the everyday process of building a company. Farza sat down with YC’s @aaron_epstein to share his playbook for turning demos into stories people actually want to watch. He breaks down how he scripts videos that still feel off the cuff, why founders should launch constantly, and and how to figure out which channels actually convert. 01:44 — Launch Constantly 03:38 — Start Shipping Demos 05:02 — Show the Process 06:07 — The Clicky Launch 07:43 — Write a Hook That Stops the Scroll 10:30 — Why Farza Scripts Every Video 12:04 — Designing the First 10 Seconds 15:15 — Demo-Driven Development 17:25 — You Have to Take a Thousand Shots 20:48 — Farza’s Formula for Videos That Convert 23:01 — Turning Demos Into Stories 24:53 — Show What You're Actually Building 29:11 — Finding Customers on Social Media 31:02 — Which Platforms Actually Convert? 39:01 — Why Farza’s First Hire Was a Filmmaker 40:49 — The Video Stack 45:41 — The 30-Day Launch Challenge

The iPhone Duo has been out for about nine hours and someone is already running their Mac on one. Fold it halfway and the keyboard appears on the bottom screen. producthunt.com/products/hea…

OpenAI, Meta, xAI, and now @AnthropicAI have all dropped personal, proactive agents this month. Hand Duet a job, and it tinkers away in the cloud, only nudging you when it needs a helping hand. producthunt.com/products/cla…

Humanoid robots come flat-packed now. Asimov 1 is $20,000 and takes about a week to build. Menlo made it because a part broke on their closed-source robot and they spent two months waiting for the replacement. producthunt.com/products/asi…

Need startup ideas?
I’m the CEO of Product Hunt and see 100s of launches a week. My current thoughts on new infra begging for startups: 1) Voice AI - infra for voice agents is getting really good w @pipecat_ai @Vapi_AI @DeepgramAI @ElevenLabs et al. and yet I rarely see good voice tech in the real world. 2) Decision Models - Jev / @typesafeai leading the charge. It reminds me of the mech-building in Zelda TOTK - an explosion of possibilities! 3) Personal Agents - they work now. And they need tools, apps, MCPs. 4) Extensions (OpenAI). We all live in agentic interfaces now. It’s like a new platform. Someone needs to build a Slack replacement that lives in Codex, for example.

Grok bot, but make it MSN Messenger. buddylist by @safaelmali puts Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and OpenCode in a 2005 buddy list. Each agent gets its own git worktree, you can group-chat them, and pass a half-done task between them. Best part... its FREE. Just bring your own accounts.
