In hindsight it’s not that impressive but I was adamant this wouldn’t be a competitive fight and Strickland would dominate Fluffy was a big favorite and people were picking him to run through Strickland
What’s the best EXACT prediction you’ve ever made for a UFC fight?⬇️ For me: Charles Oliveira subbing Mateusz Gamrot in the second round with a RNC in the 3rd minute

*That* sector of MMA fans used to reply this under every Topuria post claiming he avoided Movsar for “easy” fights like “old” Volkanovski Then Movsar doesn’t last two rounds with an even older version of Volk

Robert Whittaker and Din Thomas think Song Yadong deserves the next title shot against Petr Yan "His win against Umar was so impressive... I don't see how he can't get the next title shot." [ #UFC333 | LIVE on @paramountplus ]

Yes they are, always have been. It sucks that they can’t just appreciate the greatness we just watched in Yan’s last two performances without trying to rewrite history about every loss he’s ever had. Fortunately all will be settled once O’Malley leaves Petr frozen like Elsa ❄️
Petr Yan fans are horrible people, worst fanbase in mma.

They are never, ever giving Movsar a title shot again. I honestly thought with how long it took him to get the opportunity he would *at worst* go out on his shield. Giving up in round 2 was not on my bingo card. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t re-sign him. #UFC333

Don’t let any of tonight’s results distract you from the fact that Sean O’Malley puts Petr Yan’s lights out inside two rounds in the rematch. #UFC333

Nevermind.
I am confident. I am bold. I am attractive. I am wildly successful. I am charismatic. I am talented. I am intelligent. I am decisive. I am wise. I am masculine. I am unapologetic. I am humble (sometimes to a fault). I am brave. I am gifted. I am a Movsar Evloev fan. #UFC333

I’m actually shocked Petr Yan didn’t call for the Sean O’Malley fight considering he has that loss on his record … #UFC333

Merab set an almost impossible pace the first two rounds. I honestly didn’t know if Yan was going to be able to turn it around and find the perfect balance of defense and aggression like he did in the rematch. Perfect first 2 rounds for Merab, perfect last 3 for Yan. #UFC333

WOW 3-2 Petr Yan Lost the first two rounds badly, it wasn’t looking great, then he flips the tide sharply in the third and takes over from there. Out damaged him in 3-5. #UFC333
