I continue to fight to protect victims and survivors of crime. That is why I introduced H.R. 909, the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act of 2025, which unanimously passed the House in January 2026 and ensures the Crime Victims Fund (CVF) is fully funded. At no cost to the taxpayers, the CVF ensures that survivors of serious crimes can access critical services and rebuild their lives, many of whom have suffered domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking. The Standard-Democrat highlighted this legislation recently, read the story here. standard-democrat.com/news/r…

Families in the St. Louis region will be safer thanks to this funding, this is incredible news for our community and for our local law enforcement. Thank you to the Administration for working with us to support public safety and protect our neighborhoods.
I’m excited to announce that FOUR cities — St. Louis, Jackson, Jacksonville, and Baton Rouge — have been selected to receive nearly $300 MILLION through the Model Cities Initiative to strengthen the rule of law and improve public safety in their jurisdictions! Thanks to @POTUS Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, the Model Cities Initiative allows @TheJusticeDept to invest in these four cities that are setting an example for advancing public safety to keep their communities safe. Looking forward to these historic partnerships. #MakeAmericaSafeAgain

This is critical funding that will help support access to affordable healthcare in our communities and ensure Missouri families have access to quality, modernized care. I was proud to help advance this funding in the Working Families Tax Cuts legislation and will continue to work with the Administration to make sure we take care of parents and their children. wagner.house.gov/media-cente…

It was a privilege to present my resolution to the Missouri National Guard commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Jefferson Barracks historic and active military installation. I am pleased to recognize the thousands of men and women who served, trained, worked, and have been honored at Jefferson Barracks over the past two centuries. Thank you for all you have done for our St. Louis region and for our nation.

I met with local Alzheimer’s Association advocates to discuss the importance of early screenings for dementia related diseases. Because of their advocacy, I’m cosponsoring the ASAP Act which will ensure people have access to blood tests that detect markers for diseases like Alzheimer’s before they experience symptoms. I’m grateful for their ongoing work to support those with Alzheimer's and their loved ones.

Thank you to my friend Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway for leading a letter with 34 other state Attorneys General calling on the United States Senate to pass my bill, the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act.  I passed this critical legislation through the House of Representatives in January, and now, bipartisan state officials from across the country are calling on the Senate to get this bill signed into law. My bill provides desperately needed support to victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence after nearly ten years of decreasing resources.
Our office led a coalition of 35 states in a letter to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in support of the Crime Victims Stabilization Act, which would keep victim services open and accessible, especially in rural communities that have the fewest resources yet the greatest need. We are proud to lead the fight against crime and be a voice for victims at all levels of government.

This legislation does not spend a single taxpayer dollar, instead using the fines collected from those who defraud the government to support child advocacy centers, rape crisis centers, and domestic violence shelters. Victims need our help, and we are answering the call to ensure they have the support they desperately need.  Thank you to Attorney General Hanaway for joining us in calling on the Senate to immediately pass this legislation.

I enjoyed meeting with Lake St. Louis Police Chief Chris DiGiuseppi. We discussed my legislation, the Financial Exploitation Prevention Act, and the importance of protecting our seniors from financial fraud. This is an all of the above effort, and I appreciate working with our local enforcement to help protect those who are vulnerable in our community. I am a proud supporter of our police and will always back the blue!

It was my honor to nominate Hope Ranch of Missouri as a 2026 Angels in Adoption recipient. I have visited and seen firsthand how Hope Ranch serves foster children in our community and their commitment to help those in need is truly admirable. This organization is an incredible asset to our community here in Missouri, and this award is a testament to their ongoing passion and dedication to supporting foster children. wagner.house.gov/media-cente…

It was great to be part of the expansion celebration at Davidson Logistics today. The jobs created here will support families in our community while also advancing the cause to keep our country and our servicemembers safe. I will always fight for the men and women at Davidson and all workers at the countless small business contractors throughout our region that are vital to the strength and security of our nation.

3 years ago, Hamas attacked Israel and brutally killed innocent men, women, and children just for who they were. This unprovoked attack was an act of depravity by terrorists who want to destroy Israel and murder Jewish people by any means necessary. We pray for all still mourning the lives lost that tragic day, and we commit to standing up and doing everything possible to completely root out Hamas and achieve a lasting peace in the region.

Great to meet with the new Manchester Mayor Ben Toben at Manchester City Hall. We had a great conversation about the importance of serving our constituents. Manchester is both a Purple Heart and POW/MIA City, and I am proud to represent such a wonderful community in Congress.

Winning the F/A-XX next generation naval fighter program, on top of the already awarded F-47 fighter, is a monumental win for Missouri and the families in our community that build these jets to keep our nation safe. stltoday.com/news/local/busi…

In June, I sent a letter of support to the Department of Transportation for federal investment in I-70 upgrades near Lambert. MODOT just received $42 million for these efforts. Today I delivered this news to the new MODOT St. Louis District Engineer Tom Evers and talked more on upgrades like this. I am always proud to work with local stakeholders to ensure your tax dollars are improving the St. Louis region.
