Excited to open-source Argo! The most practical trust-minimized Bitcoin bridging: • Setup time: ~100ms • Offchain cost: ~10MB • Onchain cost: ~$8 🤖 Throw your clankers at it and help us harden it github.com/idealgroup/argo?_

The eMudhra incident is a striking illustration of the fundamental flaw in how SSL certificates work: every Certificate Authority is effectively empowered to vouch for every website on the planet. That’s insane. Hopefully the world eventually adopts a Bitcoin name system.

the only thing that stops a bad guy with a clanker is a good guy with a clanker
if this PHP vulnerability allows remote code execution, doesn't that mean we can use the vulnerability to auto-patch all vulnerable servers?

“The Fundamental Law of Bitcoin Script: even the weirdest quirk eventually becomes a feature.” Bitcoin script wizard @robin_linus describes his “abuse of Bitcoin Script” for the creation of Binohash — a covenant-emulation technique, enabling technologies like @starkware’s Quantum Safe Bitcoin. Binohash requires the use of nonstandard transactions, relying on @MARA Slipstream to execute the quirkiest of quirky scripts 😉

⛊ BitVM2 enabled SNARK verification on Bitcoin, but disputes required 4 MB of onchain data. ⛊ BitVM3 cut that to 200 bytes — at the cost of 50 GB of offchain data. ⛊ Argo reduces the offchain data to about 10 MB, making BitVM bridges highly practical. 👨‍💻 Open-sourcing this week! eprint.iacr.org/2026/2165

Client-side validation is the only architecture capable of scaling decentralized payments protocols to 10 million transactions per second. That's why I'm working on @ShieldedCSV ⛊
What if AI agents had to pay every time they read a webpage? @Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince (@eastdakota) says that's where the internet is headed. The catch is volume. Visa handles about 80,000 transactions per second at its peak. Cloudflare expects to need about 10 million on day one. "It is just way beyond the transaction volume anyone's ever seen before."

The crux of shielded Bitcoin protocols like @ShieldedCSV isn’t the private transfer. It’s the bridge. Shield in. Unshield out. So what are the real options?

Freezing Bitcoin's protocol at this stage is just as reckless as weekly hardforks.

Everything you always wanted to know about Secp256k1's ½G* (*but were afraid to ask)
Next mystery: the unexplained origin of secp256k1’s 1/2G. @AnthropicAI please ask Claude to also find those seeds, underlying Bitcoin and most other cryptocurrencies.

Aggregated lattice-based signatures offer another approach to making Shielded CSV quantum-resistant without compromising on throughput xitter.cf/LayerZero_Core/status/…
New from LayerZero Research: Aerie. A new system capable of aggregating 32,000 post-quantum Falcon signatures in just 0.65 seconds on a MacBook Pro. ML-DSA, NIST’s standardized default, is already working inside Aerie at high performance. layerzero.network/blog/intro…
