In your opinion what is the issue with Oregon’s offensive line?

Say what you will about Pitt. Their offense was down a qb But that was the number one rushing defense in the country Miami put up 52 Went for 119 on the ground with 3 tuddies Pitt had a pulse defensively. A strong one.

Those throwbacks should have shown everyone why moves needed to be made.

USA Today woke up and chose to murder Dan Lanning. OC fired. They should let fans call plays like Akron did. Can’t be any worse.

youtu.be/WKWKV0GQdKo?is=5aJQ… Post SOTG notes. Offense. I applauded FSU’s screen game from a week ago and rank it as the best in the ACC but Miami’s perimeter screen game rivals No one. Just puts so much stress on a defense. You get a good call in as a dc and then Miami lines up with tempo and hits a quick one and the way the wr block and execute its this.. It’s a home run running back. A threat to take it to the house every time you hand the ball off. It’s Just a perimeter screen. A toss if you will If you don’t have an nfl caliber corner who is excellent in man coverage you simply CANNOT stop Malachi Toney. Pitt had a “plan”. And you saw it. Double teams sure. But Miami has seen that a million times. It just exposes so many other areas of the field and Dawson knows how to work through the double teams. Even in a double team eventually someone needs to be essentially one on one on Toney and go back to the original sentiment. You need an nfl caliber cover guy. Sacks. Miami has things to clean up. Getting beat on stunts because they aren’t on the same line. Teams are going after the young left guard on purpose with exoticisms. There’s a reason for that. Bright future. It’s just an issue where he was in algebra a year ago and ACC dcs are going after him with trig. I like loftons sand te role recently. Not focal points but effective. Rb. Mallory is special. Fletcher is heart and sole. But we might need an exact split in carries Btw most impressive run was from #2. Cut in a phone booth. Broke 3 tackles and threw someone for good measure. Rb room is deep. Qb. Sun rises in the east sets in the west and Mr Handoff just is. The timing here has with Toney is impeccable The max protection calls are also good for Miami. Defense Didn’t see as many third level trigger blitzes. Lb were solid not world beaters. Too many lapses in secondary coverage. Achilles heal for sure. Heatherman asks cover guys to do “some” exotic lengthy movements but reality is, getting lost over the top and two much cushion into the field side keeps biting them. Rush defense is good. Same mix of fronts working. Okie tough and base. Active hands up front working. Hail Mary. My goodness. I cringe. Number one team based on offense and super effective rush defense. Secondary needs to shore up. Secondary only thing from stopping the chatter nationally. Secondary was the cause for 14 extra points. Thats the difference BANG ‼️ @OrangeBowlBoys

They have been severely brainwashed.
The ACC is a gimmick conference. I need to see if Miami can survive at least 2 SEC teams this year before I give them props

I see what the game plan was. The play action element took it right out of Pitt's hands. Full video rendering now. @OrangeBowlBoys

Sack Grade RED This one is on the offensive line for me. When you Jump set over the center it's a recipe for disaster And when the menu was a cross dog blitz from pitt Sack!!!! @OrangeBowlBoys

Cue the music. Sure pitt had a plan. In theory taking an overhang and triggering pass and bracketing Toney is good on "paper"... But Mali is a guy that not only monopolizes space, he thrives in it. And he doesn't need much @OrangeBowlBoys Student of the Game!!!!
