📊 Which patients are more likely to fail after MMA embolization for chronic subdural hematoma?
In a German nationwide multicenter cohort of 718 embolizations:
• Greater baseline hematoma thickness independently predicted treatment failure
• Antithrombotic use also increased failure risk
• Procedural factors were not independently associated with failure
A practical study for patient selection, counseling and follow-up after EMMA.
