Sometimes we are the ones keeping ourselves invisible. I want to be seen as sexy and powerful and as a business owner. I want all of it. What comes with all of it is somebody seeing me and deciding that I am an imposter, that I am full of it, that I do not really earn what I say I earn, that I am too pale. Pick your insult. Being visible means being visible to everyone, including them. That asks for a level of self acceptance no content calendar will hand you. Sometimes the real work is nervous system regulation rather than content strategy. If being seen feels unsafe, your strategy falls flat regardless of how good it is. I will say the harder part too. A lot of my content that has underperformed did so because it was boring, because I was speaking to nobody in particular, because there was no hook. That is worth auditing honestly. When I say you, I am talking about me.

SWers only: at what monthly income did you finally feel safe enough to quit your vanilla job and go all in? Or was it never really about the number and more about something else entirely?

Creators who had a strong year, watched things slow down and actually rebuilt their momentum, what was the thing that finally turned it around?

Adult creators, what is the wildest judgment you have gotten from someone about how you make your money? Bonus points if that same person has asked you for advice or a loan since. I want to see the receipts.

Which is actually harder to create: premium content or SFW content that converts? Because "just make something safe for social" sounds easier until you're trying to be interesting, drive traffic and stay compliant all at once without being able to say or show anything that represents your brand.

I film one day, edit the next, messages blocked out every morning, etc. I know it sounds rigid but trust me.. you'll realize how much mental energy you get back from stopping the constant mode switching.

Has anyone dealt with a dedicated hater who mass reports your accounts across platforms just to get your content taken down and force you to start over? If so, what happened and how did you handle it? I have a feeling more of us are dealing with this than we care to admit and need the support/tips.

4 questions I ask before building on any new platform: 1. Where will the traffic come from? 2. What do I actually keep? 3. Can my fans reach it from where they already pay me? 4. What will it cost me in hours? The full breakdown is on Episode 206 of On The Whorizon.

The people most likely to find your adult accounts immediately are the ones who already knew you online and were paying attention. Having a plan for that conversation before it happens is one of those things every creator thinks they have time to figure out until they suddenly don't.

Cuts most creators never add up: 1. Payout and currency conversion fees 2. Refunds and chargebacks 3. Software and subscriptions 4. Editing help 5. Leak protection (dmca) 6. Your accountant

I'm sorry, but i am so very unimpressed when creators tell me they make $10,000 on Onlyfans.. What's impressive is how much you KEEP. Profit > Revenue What the rest are doing, on today's episode of On The Whorizon: linktr.ee/whorizon

Very niche content plus genuine authenticity plus fans who can tell you actually share their interests is a combination that keeps people around for years. That is worth protecting even when the rest of it feels impossible.

Grab a notebook. At the top of the page write: what is my weird. Then list everything. Your humor. Your tattoos. Your voice, if it happens to be good for ASMR. The cosplay. The spicy thing you actually enjoy filming. The fact that you are good with a camera and can shoot something that looks expensive. Every single thing that makes you you. This is step one of finding a niche and most creators skip past it to copy whoever is winning this month. More than two million creators are active right now. OnlyFans added over five hundred thousand in 2023 alone. Some of them are in lower cost regions and can undercut your pricing all day. You cannot out-general a crowd that size. You can go specific enough that the crowd stops being relevant. That list in your notebook is where the specific comes from.
