Soft launching +EV: plusev.tech/. @EV_Fellowship I think this is *very* important for the world.. Otherwise I'd retire 🫠 Notes: > It's NOT a venture fund > The goal is to unblock top ambition/talent, underserved young people with big dreams. Where do small grants/mentorship make a *real* difference? > Every company and person helping/contributing time, capital, compute credits is (obviously) doing this pro-bono. > The goal is ambition with social good in *some* way... Meme coin trading apps, etc aren't the target. Again, this isn't a venture fund. > Literally launching, so be patient if website issues etc > If you want to help, please email: [email protected]! > With the rise of AI, most applications for anything get a lot of noise & bullshit... It's easy to spam them! The vast majority of people will be rejected for obvious reasons. If you don't get an interview, you're rejected. The point of this is to cater to the top 1% underserved, young people who *could* change the world but don't have the connections, capital, mentorship. This does *not* cater to the 99%. > Decisions are made by an independent committee. Harvard iLab mentors, ex/current founders, VCs, etc.

Today, we remember September 11, 2001. We honor those we lost and the resilience that followed. We never forget. 🕊️

Congrats to MacKenzie Hart, founder of SOSitter, winner of August's F&F Pitch Competition! 🏆 SOSitter connects families with trusted caregivers for child care, pet care & senior companionship. Every month, 3 founders pitch a polished deck live — 5 min + 2 min Q&A — for a $2,500 grant. This is what it can win you. ❤️ skysthelimit.org/give #Entrepreneurship #PitchCompetition

He launched on the 100th anniversary of Black Wall Street's burning. Leon Fowler II came home to build in Greenwood. His first app was good, not great, so he rebuilt it as XCLUSV. Sky's the Limit backed him with $30K. Blueprint: collaboration, not competition. #SkysTheLimit

Three of us around a table. One teammate on a laptop screen. Cold coffee nobody finished. Nobody posts this part. But this is where the work actually happens — the calls about which founder needs what, the calendar math on next quarter, the honest conversation about what’s working and what isn’t. The wins show up later. This is the part that makes them possible.

One entrepreneur launches a business. A family gains stability. Employees find work. Neighborhoods gain services. Young people see what's possible. Impact never stops with one founder. It multiplies. That's lasting change. #Impact #Entrepreneurship #CommunityWealth

Her delivery company took 10 years to deliver anything. Telly Arnold started TLA Group in 2014 as a working single mom and didn't launch until 2024. Today: six figures in Houston freight and a grant winner. 10 years to start. One to matter. #BlackBusinessMonth #SkysTheLimit

She came to Tulsa to be a teacher. Then the pandemic closed her classroom. Ivanna Price saw founders with real work and no way to be seen — so she started The Social Bar. Seen a great photo of a Tulsa founder? Probably hers. #BlackBusinessMonth #SkysTheLimit

$2,500 was the difference between an idea and a company. Oni Threads was sketches and a name — samurai-inspired streetwear from Aliké Chambers. A Sky's the Limit grant let her file the LLC. Now she makes armor for everyone else. #SkysTheLimit #BlackBusinessMonth

Black women are one of the fastest-growing groups of entrepreneurs in America. Yet they receive less than 1% of venture capital funding. Talent isn’t the problem. Access is. Help us expand opportunity. ❤️ skysthelimit.org/give #BlackWomensEqualPayDay #Entrepreneurship #EconomicOpportunity

Behind every entrepreneur is a human being trying to hold everything together. Founders aren’t just building businesses. They’re balancing work, family, financial pressure, and a dream they refuse to give up. Your support helps ensure they never have to build alone. ❤️ skysthelimit.org/give #Entrepreneurship #MentorshipMatters #SmallBusiness

The best founders can explain their business in one sentence. One of the greatest gifts we can give entrepreneurs isn’t just funding. It’s clarity. The right words open doors to customers, partnerships, and opportunity. ❤️ Support entrepreneurs: skysthelimit.org/give #Entrepreneurship #MentorshipMatters #SmallBusiness

The most important moves in business happen long before success is visible. Every successful business is built on countless unseen moments—mentor conversations, pitch practice, honest feedback, and the decision to keep going. That’s where opportunity begins. #Entrepreneurship #MentorshipMatters #SmallBusiness
