Made this illustration during the super bowl, remembering growing up playing videos games and how hard it was to beat Battle Toads on the NES.
So I’m planning on making risoprints of these! Does anyone have any paper recommendations? Would love to hear your favorites!
Charizard! 🔥 Latest addition to my Pokémon series. Had a ton of fun bringing this one to life and love how it all came together!

I probably should wait until the final piece is finished before sharing, but I’m too excited not to. Here’s a little sneak peek at what I’ve been working on for my latest Pokémon series!
My buddy Greg at work added a little motion to an illustration I made, and I’m loving what he cooked up. Such a fun touch!
I just finished putting together the first drafts of nine case studies. Not sure if they’re quite ready to share yet, but would love to get some thoughts and feedback from folks!
Some of my favorite illos I made for Yahoo! Hoping to make some more soon both for work and for fun.
So pumped to be heading to the Bay Area tomorrow to see some new and familiar faces! Honestly, one of the best times of year to visit!
Was digging around looking at some old works and found these experiments I cooked up using gradients
Here’s the final set of spot illustrations I made for Yahoo Shopping! Most of these didn’t make the cut, but I had a lot of fun making them nonetheless.
Wanted to share a few of the explorations along the way.
I was digging through some of my old work and I found this lil thing I made that never made it off the cutting room floor
Worked on some spot illustrations this morning. Still have a few more to add, but wanted to share what I’ve been working on so far!
I was spiraling a bit today, and a close friend reminded me, “Just remember, no one is thinking about you more than yourself.”
Honestly, I needed to hear that. Sharing in case someone else does too. 🙏
I’ve spent years building icon + illustration systems, but my skills go far beyond that
It’s a weird time to be in this industry. AI is helping me flex skills I don’t often get to use & bring more ideas to life.
I don’t want to be boxed into a title. I just want to build things
This week, I’ve been experimenting with AI and learning a ton. So far, I’ve built 2 mini games and a photo filter app with adaptive tiling.
It’s been a fun way to unblock myself creatively, making everything from lettering, logos, and icons to the actual experiences. So fun!
Having ADHD and access to Claude Code is an absolute challenge. I used to procrastinate by doing nothing. Now I procrastinate by building random projects in Claude. 😂
I’ve been exploring AI as a tool to help visualize animation ideas and communicate proof of concepts. I see these as high-level sketches, a starting point to help bring ideas to life, communicate the vision, and give animators room to take things further and work their magic.
Thinking it’s finally time to update my personal logo, but I have no idea what to make… designing for yourself is such a challenge. 😩
A little follow up to my Venusaur piece.
Had so much fun making that one, I had to keep going. This time, it’s Blastoise.
Next up: Charizard 🔥
