-no. 1 crypto ETF in America by flows last week
Feel free to @ me here & i'll do my best to get u if u have Q's.
A few common ones here 🧵
Ok she’s running
If you listen carefully it’s a misplaced anger at his own parents for not making him feel worthy that turned into raging jealousy of other children who had parents that lifted them up and poured into them. He’s projected all of that onto white people. He needs to mend his heart before thinking about running for any office. White ppl haven’t hurt him. He knows exactly who did. Notice how he doesn’t get the satisfaction he was craving when the interviewer simply anchors himself & doesn’t validate that experience. We should all do more of this. Don’t validate anyone’s experience for the sake of temporary bonding.
Book rec this wknd.

The humans are so ‘advanced’ that they have regular sex changes, plastic surgery, drug glands for ongoing usage. No needs.
In post scarcity society, the games that ppl & cultures play take on added significance.

Wisdom, of the 4 stoic virtues, is the most challenging to develop.
It requires knowledge, experience, humility, practice, curiosity, reflection.
It is also impossible to apply the other 3 appropriately without Wisdom.
Where to start? Remember: “I know nothing.” (Socrates)
And these are the four virtues, upon which a good life hinges:
ICE has reposted its announcement that it plans to bring Hyperliquid-based perps to the U.S. with Trade[XYZ], after deleting its original post last night, prompting mild panic on X that the partnership had somehow been canceled.
The new version puts more emphasis on the caveats: ICE “plans to” launch the markets, subject to regulatory approvals.
Legal team probably just being extra cautious.

My former colleague @dlawant has been doing exceptional work on this.
Crypto investors have historically treated hacks in the same way equity investors treat one-time charges; they don't have much of an impact on price. That's likely to be true here. Binance is weathering it well and has handled communication in an expert manner.
That said, it's reasonable to be cautious heading into the weekend. Crypto was already facing a challenging mix of AI/inflation/election concerns before the hack, and the hack doesn't help with any of that. There is definitely a risk of increased volatility during the low-liquidity weekend period.
On BTC after major hacks and financial accidents:
Historically, bitcoin has treated hacks and solvency events very differently: thefts tend to be absorbed within hours, while insolvencies are not. So far the market is putting the Binance breach clearly in the first bucket. This is especially true if you adjust for how negative broader macro sentiment is today.
Also, historically these types of events have not been a useful signal for BTC's future returns direction beyond the first few hours. They seem to depend a lot more on the overall market cycle.

I have a new appreciation for NYC after my recent trip. It’s changed a lot since I was a kid. Every corner of Manhattan is generally safe, very different from 35 years ago. Cashless prob helps.
It’s also the last remaining retail abundant city in the US. Storefronts that sell real hard goods. Go to LA or SF and it’s all rich people services (nail salons, botox), overpriced food (froyo, macaroons) or showrooms of things that are not there (Tesla, mattresses). NYC makes walking the streets so much more enjoyable with real shops with real people.
Lastly, the “vibe” of NYC is unmatched anywhere in the world. Walk the streets and you feel the pulse, like you’re a part of something bigger. People are generally courteous and self aware of the flow, especially on the subway. It looks chaotic from above but it is a well functioning society of competent humans thriving to reach their potential. It might sound cheesy, but that makes me proud as an American.
